Manan-Eternity

She felt aghast. Why not? She was just a play card for him.. She cried hard. REVENGE' is that a justification to all the moments they spend together. She sat on the stairs where they used to meet and cried. Is this the end of everything? She is feeling like the next moment is also like a burden for her. She want to die but she has so much responsibility. Her brother at the top of the list.

"Wait! Nandini wait!.. something is not right!" screamed her inner voice.

Then Nandini tried to solve the puzzle.

" His concern .. his passion.. his love .. his everything cannot be fake. There must be some mystery in these sircumstances.. Manik was happy till yesterday when we share our kiss but when was conversing at night or came to meet me. His words.. his eyes reflected something else. He was not so happy.. he was sobbing.. crying..He hugged me with so much pain.. And when I said him to go.. he said I am always right.. His lines had his own set of meanings. Maybe.." She slapped her forehead. " I was so lost in my happiness that I didn't observe him only. When he removed his hands from mine I could not connect with them. How could I be such a blind?"

She rubbed her tears.

" I should ask him.. No.. If I ask him directly he will never reply. He is doing this for someone. There must be a reason.. I have to find it out. He cannot use me. I trust him. Its an exam of my love and I definitely pass it with flying colors.But at first I need to know the real reason."

She was about to leave when Dhruv came.

"Dhruv? You here?"

"Nandini.. This is for you" He held a red rose infront of her.

"Red rose?"

"Actually .. I want to say I love you."

Nandini's eyes widened.

" Dhruv I am sorry but I could not except this rose"

He shattered.

"Dhruv you will have the best girl in the world. But I am not that person. Can we stay just as friends?" she said little uncomfortably.

"Yes. Why not?" He said bringing a little courage inside himself and pretending to be okay.

"Accha Dhruv who else knows this?" asked Nandini.

"Alya and Manik."

Manik's name had the effect. She got a hint of truth.

"Can you tell me when he came to know about this?" asked she.

"Yesterday night!"

"What??"

"Yes Those arrangements yesterday I did for you but I was late and you went away" said a dishearten Dhruv.

"What? Those white roses.. you send it?"

"Yes"

"And I thought Manik" Nandini mumbled.

"And when I left after that you told him that.." enquired Nandini.

"Yes!"

Thud! Everything got crystal clear in front of her. She is enlighten now. She know the truth.. She know what changed her Simple Manik to Monster Manik.

"Dhruv can you tell me where is Manik"

"When I told I will propose you now he just left. Don't know what happened to him he said he wants to stay alone."

"Thanks Dhruv.. but I am sorry once again to break your heart this way" she said plainly.

She actually don't know with what emotion she should say this. She broke his heart but found solace for herself.

She ran fast as much she could.

Malhotra Mansion.

Manik sat leaning on the bed. Vases broken..He did this.

"Tonight they will unite. My Nandini will not be mine anymore. She will be my best buddy's. And I have to greet her that way. I will have no rights on her. I will not be able to show my care for her.. At top my love.. True Love"

He sat down crying.

Nandini came.

"Madam I will inform Manik sir.."

"No need. I want to meet him myself"

"His permission"

"I can invade his private moment also. Its my right. You don't have to worry your job is safe"

And she went for his room. She stood at the door and saw him crying. Shouting his feelings to the empty room unknown of the fact that someone is watching him.

" So Mr. Malhotra seems quite busy" smirked she.

He know the voice. He rubbed his tears and wore the mask of Monster Manik.

" Wo... Miss Nandini Moorthy.. at my residence? Baby this is not an AASHRAM.. where anyone can come. How dare you to invade my personal space?"

" Cause am here to clear everything"

"Everything is cleared.. I took revenge from you"

"Oh really? Or on your ownself?"

"What do you mean?"asked he.

"I want to say I rejected Dhruv's proposal"

"What?.. but.."

"What do you think yourself? Smart ass? Baby Nandini Moorthy was born SMART"

"You.. you" he got mum.

"I found out the reason Manik. I know you were acting. Useless to act anymore. I know he is broken shattered now but happy he will get his real love one day. But am not that girl. Do you think you only has all the responsibility as a friend? Are they jerks? They can't have an opportunity to prove that they are capable of taking the responsibility of friendship? Do you think I am a stupid and will flow with your mere words? Do you think I don't trust you? Yes I was broken for some moments but when I told you that I trust you I meant it. I would trust you at the worst situation also.. You cannot break Nandini Moorthy's trust so easily and destroy her love life. Do you understand? I have faith in my relationship and in you" said Nandini in one breath.

Tears rolled down through his cheeks.

"I love you" he said with a mild smile.

And he opened his arms.

She saw and crushed there with a smile.

" You know what? I feel like I get eternal peace clinging inside your arms.."

"And I have eternity with you"

"But I will not forgive you. You broke your promise of not hurting me and I will stick to my words. Anyways I can tell I love you too.. Lets postponed our fights and enjoy this moment of solace, comfort and peace"

"Yes! You are right. I am not leaving you now" said he with a smile.
