'Manik''

Manik turned around to find out it was Cabir. He turned back and stood there, staring outside the window with hands in his pocket. Cabir came near and stood beside him facing the window.

'Apne pyaar ko kise aur ki saath dekh nahi pa raha hai?''
Manik remained quite. Cabir looked at him.
"Kyun kaar raha hain aisa Manik?? Kyun apne ap ko yeh saza de raha hain''
'Dhruv ko khush dekhna mere liye sazza nahi hain Cabir''
'Dhruv ko khush?? Aur tere khud ki khushi ka kya??''
Manik did not answer
'Tere khud ke khushi ka chor NANDINI bhi khush nahi hain Manik''
He abruptly looked at Cabir with a shocked face. But then he shook his head and said 'Dhruv Nandini ko khush rakhe ga''
'Yaar agar koi insaan khush nahi rehna chahta na tou ussei Dhruv tou kya koi bhi khush nahi rakh saakta''
'Manik in 5 months main bohut baar mila hoon unse, I have met them and I have seen them. Dekha hain maine Nandini ko...Apne ap mein khoyie rehti hain jo ladk itna paka ti thi sabko vo baat hi nahi karti hain... kisi se bhi''
I was right I was right something was wrong with her...this was not the Nandu whom I knew

'yes yes yes Cabir I love her'' shouted Manik. Looking at cabir he said...
'bohut pyaar kar ta hoon main usse... bohut...
Manik hit the window with both of his hands and rested his head on it.
'I love her so god damn much...itna ki in 5 mahino mein ek second kiliye bhi nahi bhula main usse...

Usi raat jab mein usse apne dil ki baat bol na chahta tha...bolna chahta tha ki main uske saath apni puri zindagi bitana chahta hoon...but Dhruv...it was the first time he had fallen for someone..Nandini is his first love and I couldn't snatch that from him...I just couldn't''

'Aur tere khudke pyaar ka kya Manik??You still love her damn it!!"'

"'Yes yes I do Cabir I still do aur mujhe nahi lagta main apne zindagi mein kisi aur se phir pyaar kar paunga ya nahi kyunki mera pyaar tou Nandini hai...Nandini''

CRUNNNCHH!!

Cabir and Manik both got surprised by the noise and they turned to see, the last person they had wished to see, stand there, Nandini.

Nandini was devastated after hearing the truth from Manik's own mouth. She had come to return the phone and ask about her confusion but she didn't expect this. She couldn't bear all of it she just couldn't her body was trembling and she just needed a support. It is then that she held the side table and the vase fell and broke into pieces.

Manik was anxious
Did she hear anything??
He knew she did. Her face was the mirror of her heart it showed everything. She was holding the table like it was helping her to stand, her eyes all watery and with those eyes she looked at manik.
His heart skipped a beat.
her eyes were full of questions.

Cabir looked at both of them and he decided to go out of the room. He walked pass Nandini and closed the door while leaving.
