You have a very strong point here. But even I've blamed both of them in my own post- and so have many.

I completely agree with Genie here. It's Fab 5 and their concept of 'friendship' which is the main culprit!

Maanik has deluded himself into believing that Dhruv wouldn't fall for Nandu. (but he sorta made sure that Nandu won't fall for Dhruv either).

Dhruv has deluded himself into believing that Nandu loves him.

Aalya is under the delusion that she and Maanik still have a chance.

Mukti is deluded herself into believing that Maanik-Aalya are the 'perfect couple'. That nothing can go wrong in their paradise.

Cabir is deluding himself into thinking that Raghav is gonna come out in the open with him.

You see- they ALL dwell on delusions!

😆
It's like studying Shakespeare's plays ... Symbolism, Symbolism.
I am gonna wait till Sunday to form my opinions on this whole love triangle --- Things change alot in KY2 in 4-5 episodes. And i will just trust the CVs to surprise me again.
I agree, from a psychological perspective, it makes sense that a guy who doesn't have a family in true sense would go on to make his own family and just because he didn't have his mom-dad as they should have been in his life, he went ahead to become the Mom-Dad o f his 'Family'.
The feeling of 'I will never be like my Mom-Dad, i will be everything they were not.'
I wouldn't want that to be taken away from Manik, but he needs to learn to be a teenager and young again, to understand that even in families, everything is to be shared, either it be comfort or burdens. And putting yourself first is the most important thing.

They are in the process of breaking that delusion - all of them. Cabir's delusion regarding Raghav seems to have been broken to some level with what Raghav did. He sees himself for how he was and what Raghav is and how Cabir should be now. But he can't just stop loving, that won't happen. Something having intense and hard hitting to show you the real picture of the things -- Manik's time seems to have come too.

Right now I am feeling bad for the 3 of them esp Nandini. She loves Manik and Manik decides to sacrifice her for his friend.
I don't blame any one. Dhruv's feelings are one-sided, he'll never get her love.

I really hope Dhruv comes to know about MaNan and re-unites the love-birds. Because this sacrificing is destroying 3 lives, 3 dreams.

I couln't agree mre..
Dhruv's fooling himself if he fnks its love kz its infatuation bt he obviously doesn't knw dat..
bt Manik..wat da hell is wrong wid him??i know he's heartbroken n all bt if he hd listened carefully 2 wat dhruv said he would hve realised dat wat Dhruv felt was nothng lyk wat He felt 4 Nandu..
Dhruv needs sme1 who would mke him regain cnfidence in himself, who would stop him frm livin in an illusion n learn 2 fight 4 himself n da ones he loves..n i was hopin Manik would help him in dat bt mere saare hopes paani mein doob gaye..

i wnt Manik 2 stop treating Dhruv like a baby..he's bound 2 get hurt at sme point ov tym..He cnt always b der 2 protect him..

I don't blame only Dhruv I blame the entire Fab5. Manik is always there for them and they are all busy with their personal problems. 😕

I blame Manik for taking such a pathetic decision. He didn't even let Nandini choose what she wants. 😕

Though I know I am going to love it but still I think Manik is stupid. 😆
