You know, i have been noticing this for a very long time now...this show is fabulous but the only complaint i have is the lack of use of proper english.
unlike other shows, this one has more than half its dialogues in the said language ...so i think that it is the responsibility of the cvs to actually use it properly...every single episode has numerous basic grammatical and construction errors in sentences which even a school kid should be aware of...
i'll give u examples...today only i heard 2 superlative terms used side by side...it is either larger or more large, one cannot use more and larger together.
prepositions ka bharta bana diya hai yeh log...no point of fighting? really? it is point 'in' and not 'of'
n then there is the patent 'all of u all'...like what?
i think the writers are educated enough to know the proper usage of sentences...every time i hear one or the other character getting their prepositions wrong and honestly it gets on my nerves...itna responsibility to rehna chahiye na... these characters are supposed to be uber cool rich brats studying in posh institutions and honestly mixing up of tenses and prepositions doesn't go with it..
I'm not asking anybody to be connoisseurs of the language but i do feel that the writers should be responsible enough to write coherent sentences without such glaring errors...
I don't know how many of u feel the same but seriously, kaan pe khatakta hai jab koi aise dialogues bolte hai to.
what do u think?
PS- I feel utkarsh's pronunciation isn't that good really, and it is fine...he is good at what he does and that's what matters...but the creatives can, you know, make him speak in hindi instead of giving him so many dialogues in English.Frankly, it sounds weird...just a thought.
