@AY - There was a lot of debate about Student-teacher thing and the way Cabir was more invested in the relationship. I think they dodged it by ensuring that legally it was "ok", 15 year difference and well Cabir is suppose to be older than 18 . Also now with Raghav resigning , they have removed the "ethics" debate, convenient . Controlling part, Raghav resigning , being ok about acknowledging his love for Cabir in public kind of settled it for now. Rest will see.

Exactly...the setting was wrong...it was uncomfortable to watch not cuz they are gay but cuz Raghav is the TEACHER...why do the older characters in this show have like ZERO sense of dignity😕...Raghav sirf naam ka hi teacher hai...he seems to command no respect or authority😕

The actual point is lost in all this...they could have found a better way to show Raghav embracing his relationship with Cabir rather than having them openly romance on the dance floor in front of the whole college.

Everyone in this show is so HORMONAL😆...even the supposed "adults".

I was watching that Diwali scene a couple of days back...when he's telling Nandini that when he sees her he just changes...that was a very interrupted scene btw😆...you'd think ki Nandu would say something in response...all she says is ki her chacha-chachi are coming😆...way to change the topic😆...Manik ne ITNI badi baat boli usko first time that day and Nandu randomly changes the topic and wants to leave😕😆

seriously yaar that was such a face palm moment ...i was like bandhi bol kya rehi hai??..but yea this sudden confession she could not handle it ...but poor manik haha..and he was so right when he said those words...

"dil yeh mera, bas main nahi" 😆..haath per sab apne aap chalne lagte hai 🤣

But the legality of the issue is not at debate here...they are mixing up the gay rights issue with the student-teacher issue...the ethical issue very much remains in my opinion because just resigning does not absolve Raghav from his basic responsibility as the adult/more mature one of out of him and Cabir.

Who did Raghav need to prove a point to by doing a close dance with Cabir in front of everyone? Public acknowledgement of love can come in many ways better than this...especially from a guy in his 40s I'd expect better...being publicly physical with someone is not the only way to acknowledge your love for them.

Nyonika briefly touched on this point in yesterday's epi by questioning Raghav for getting involved with a student and instead of showing Raghav feeling guilty about that, they transitioned it into a gay rights issue by showing Raghav proudly submitting his resignation and deciding to go find Cabir to romance with.😕

another character whom i cant understand now is Dhruv
how can he be such a tubelight..??? i really dont understand..
everytime he needs some push..and he has no inkling of what is going around him...so self absorbed kya..???

why they are showing him like this..??nandu says he has not changed..but in my opinion he was far better earlier...

i would have loved to see a lil more sensitive Dhruv w.r.t nandini which would have made manik burn in jealousy like anything...

Exactly😆😆...Manik just has this NANDU mode, period...trance se bhi badhkar kuch😆...that turns on the moment he sees her😆.

The weird thing about that poolside Diwali scene is that on one hand they were showing a Nandu confused/not knowing what to say in response to his admittance of his feelings for her and on the other hand she was playfully flirting around with him too in the tussle over the dupatta, making him run after her etc...😆...thoda inconsistent lagaa mujhe woh scene. The actual fireflies wala confession was executed much better.

You know I wish they'd show a scene where Manik would look at the lamp she gave him...woh stars wala...

But woh toh tab dikhaayenge if this longgg night EVER ends😕😆

Exactly...precap waali meeting would have conveyed the point perfectly...still they had to do all this drama...it really undermines Raghav's character and the issue as a whole IMO.

Anyways unko gay rights ka jhandaa gaadna hai bas, chaahe misguided tareeke se hi sahi😆...why should straight couples be the only ones shortchanged in daily soaps...gay couples join the club😆...

It doesn't absolve him from the guilt, but what if he is not questioning it., doesn't think it was wrong, to him it seemed to mutually consented adults who took upon a relationship, his only worry was how society will percieve it. He mentioned lynching and mob hurting them earlier and at that point Cabir went all about "living in the moment".
Personally I thought it was extremely selfish of Raghav to be in a relationship with Cabir and still be teaching, he should have resigned earlier .before embarking on a relationship.

Who did Raghav need to prove a point to by doing a close dance with Cabir in front of everyone? Public acknowledgement of love can come in many ways better than this...especially from a guy in his 40s I'd expect better...being publicly physical with someone is not the only way to acknowledge your love for them.

The point was for Cabir who he has been refusing since ages that they cannot be together and infront of the world He was cynical about Cabir's "coming out" in front of his friends. So considering all his fears and his past , he wanted to tell Cabir that he was all in . I don't think close dance is wrong, they are free to express their love or be with each other like any other normal partner. At that point , Raghav was not his teacher nor was he obligated to society in any way. I

I think Raghav resigned way before Noyonika confronted him. He did it before the tape was played. So he made his decision without any pressure. Noyonika did unsettle him and rightly so , but then what else can he do at that point. he cannot reverse his feelings or past actions. The only person he owes explanation and apology is Cabir and he knew being with him on that dance floor will mean something special to Cabir.

Hey Everyone!

I have to agree on that dance bit - I didn't really understand the motif behind Raghav-Cabir dance. This entire Teacher-Student issue seems to have been put to the sideline with Raghav's resignation letter, yet, I feel there should be more to this. It is not something that can be easily let go. Especially, with Cabir not only getting beaten up by Harshad, but with mooh-kaala...There is more troubles ahead for these two.

Genie - I just saw Ayaaz's Insta pic. When exactly will this happen? Before Harshad beats up him or afterwards? Didn't he fall down unconscious though?

@AY - This night is going to be looonnnggg one. I just want all of them to go home and reflect on the entire day. Each one of them need it right now.
