I have no idea as to what made me write this, but now that I've started, I'll just speak my mind here.

A few days ago, I went to Utkarsh's AT to post something, and lo and behold...I come across sooo many negative comments against MaNan as a couple along with them as individuals even! I saw that most of them were targeting Maanik more than Nandini!

Now, first and foremost, please don't think that I'm gonna start with a sympathetic lecture because sympathy can only worsen things than do otherwise.

All I'm doing is trying to request you guys to STOP bashing someone else's favourite if you cannot appreciate them!

How we, the MaNan fans see MaNan as a couple is completely different from how you guys see it- and I can totally get that part. What I DON'T get, however, is this negativity towards someone who just doesn't happens to be your favourite!

I can STILL understand you people bashing the CV's for not showing more of DhruNi or Dhruv but why take it out on MaNan?

Why do you guys think that Maanik is only worthy of hatred if he says that it was him who sent Dhruv for all those victims? Don't you guys think that it would have been the same if it was a different member? What if it was Mukti asking him to do the same? Or Dhruv asking Cabir to do the same? Would you start hating the person who asked his/her friend to stick around the place for helping out the victim?

I don't know how many of you reading this post have been following my reviews but if you do, you'll know that despite being an ardent MaNan shipper, I've tried my best to give an unbiased review every time! I've never shied away from bashing Maanik when he was being an ass to Nandu! I've even pointed out how unfair Dhruv was being to Maanik after the punch incident.

So, in all fairness, I'll request you guys to put an end to this negativity!

I'm saying this because an actor or a fictional character doesn't deserve all this! He or she is not gonna be bothered of all the tears you've been shedding, of all the anger you guys are directing towards the other leads- NOPE!

That's all I had to say. Hope it will be taken in good spirits. 😊

I agree...the hatred can be nd shd be driven towards the writer. ..not the other character or actors at any level.

your longing for dhruv nd dhruni is justified...it makes perfect sense coz u like the character nd the couple. ..but blaming someone else's favorites for that matter is completely unjustified.

and im sure cvs have something great in store for u

Agree. Bashing actors or characters kind of spoil the mood. I have seen many serials going completely haywire in execution, primarily because we in India don't follow a bound script (with exceptions like 24/yuddh). Each viewer relates and reacts to characters/tracks differently, and and its completely ok to feel let down or being upset about it. But shouldnt be stretched long...not worth the time and effort 😊

I doubt DhruNi fans will even read this :P Buuut, love the post! The hatred towards MaNan - well, more like, the hatred towards Manik, is seriously becoming kind of unbearable.

I posted the same thing in the DhruNi AT. Me, being a DhruNi AND MaNan fan find it irritating to see either of the fandoms bashing the other and thank you for this post, it was needed. 😃

Once again, I don't wanna go on a 'more of DhruNi is coming' rant. I have NO idea what the writers are planning, so why should I?

My only agenda was to speak my mind regarding this unjustifiable hatred. Just waiting for some DhruNians/Dhruvians to comment. 😊

My point exactly! Why bash the characters? The actors are only doing their job, they knew what they had to do when they signed the contract. Unnecessary and unjustifiable bashing won't make them do otherwise!

loved ur post, i also dont like when some1 bashes any character,i am also a manan shipper but i like dhruv as well. not only dhruv or manik,i dnt like bashing any charatcers. loved ur post👏

I have been part of India-forums since its start and have been part of High active forums like DMG and IPK.. so all this isn't anything as compared to what it was there. LOL😛😆

Anyway, I have always believed bashing doesn't really help anyone. There is a way of putting your point across when you think something is not going in the right direction or is not getting its proper due, here in this case DhruNi or Dhruv.

You know they say when people have made their mind to hate someone or something they won't see anything good even if its there.. But thats a very sad situation. In reality if people go by the same phenomenon they in for losing a hell lot of good people in their lives.

A request to DhruNi/ Dhruv fans- All actors are putting in their hard work. Its not about leads. Its about characters and their stories. Every character has something to say or do.. only some have more to do & some have less. No character is perfect. They all are flawed in some way or the other. Don't get so aggressive about fictional characters or any actor. Trust me thats one thing fans waste their life and time on.

Different fan groups asking for their favorites to be shown more.. a show doesn't work like that. it goes down the drain with that formula. So let the creatives do their work and tell us the story their way... People not interested very well have the right to not watch it. No one needs to worry about a show's TRPs which they aren't interested in. (this is for all the fan groups).

I can freaking do a case study on behaviour of people based on this show and this forum yaar. LOL😆

PS: I wouldn't have really loved MaNan if they had just hot scenes between them. There has to be content, story, chemistry and connection between characters playing romantic interest for each other.
For god sake its a teen show.. they aren't showing Happily ever afters here.. this show will end with college only.. After college who knows they all will find someone else 😆😆😆
