Harshad is full of layers. He is not a typical bad boy..the guy has some serious motives behind all his actions. He isn't someone who just blindly uses anyone for his own benefit. He is great to the ones he respects and shrewd for the ones he wants to harm. Clearly the sharpest character of the show. And he is the only one who can tame the Wild Cat Mukti. But their wounds run deep...there's some much unresolved conflict between them.

You know, you be the ONLY one who refers to HYD and not BOF and I effin' love you for that! I never shipped Makino with anyone but Tsukasa but gaaah! Rui gave Tsukasa some serious competition! Oh good..HYD feels being reawakened again!

I'm watching that episode right now post Dhruv ragging and you know that drink that they made? Copied from the same movie. Only in that movie, it's part of a dare at a party and the friends make it and the guy drinks it so the girl doesnt have to. I love the way Dhruv finally spoke up and caused the bowl to drop. How can I not ship them? How?!?

Heheh. One of the reasons I refer to HYD is cuz it was made first and it's the only one I saw. I started BOF but couldnt finish watching it and somehow I just loved HYD more! I have this insane crush on Rui, something about broken, tormented, silent, intense guys you know? That's my weakness. So yeah Makino and Rui for me all the way. And then some of the fics from that fandom didnt help either.

You know I wanna gush about the epis as I'm watching them even though they are more than a month old. *sigh* Must go back to the show now. Need. To. Catch. Up. 😉

This is one point of Dhruv I can never like, ever. He spoke, but he spoke too late. I can not understand why he didn't say anything soon? Manik is a Monster, I agree. He's done horrendous things, it's a fact. But that doesn't exclude Dhruv from any blame. He's equally responsible for whatever Nandini went through. If the guy cares so much for the girl, he could've told Manik more than just once to cut it out. Manik took out all his frustrations on Nandini and Dhruv just let it be. Honestly, in those days I didn't ship anyone strongly. I just wanted Nandini to be stronger. And now she has and Manik's gone all #Duffer and my feels..eeeps! All my feels!! Btw, Manik-Dhruv angst coming your way soon so be ready for it.

HYD was my first Asian show as well and undoubtedly one of the best I've seen in these four years. But my reasons are more Tsukasa oriented xD First, I had this crazy crush on Jun Matsumoto after watching it! He was just...perfect. Tsukasa's crazy love for Makino and how Makino went from hating him to indifferent to being so in love with him...aaah! They be the PERFECT OTP for me..*sigh*

Gush about them here na! I have all the episodes downloaded so I can easily go back and watch them in case I can't remember which scene you be pointing to 😉

So i read all of your conversation and its so great to see so many DEK fans here. I started the show towards the end actually. I saw a Manveer scene and fell in love with it. So i watched it on youtube and basically used to fast forward all the waste scenes (yeah i mean Akash :p) And after its ending, I feel lke the show had sooo much potential and they just ruined it. If only they would have kept Uday as the main lead since the beginning and had gone in a Manveer direction since the beginning. And even at one point like Mais the track was going in an excellent way but they brought back Aakash amd the show was ruined for me.

Btw hi! I started that show because of that all-famous Manveer party scene. And then stopped when Akash came back again because basically Manyata became unbearable!
