Nandini checked the time and thought,

Iss time pe kahanse lau breakfast? Kitchen mein check karti hoon shayyad kuch mille.

She threw down her covers and ran downstairs. Opening the fridge she was frantically checking for something, anything at this point.

4:07 am

Oh, shucks yahan kuch bhi nahin hai, bread hai toh no cheese. Kuch leke nahin gayi toh woh monster bhadkega maybe I will take something atleast, shayyad kuch na bole. Aaiappa now only you can save me.

She quickly grabbed a few things from the refrigerator, ran upstairs grabbed her jacket, wallet, and phone and bolted out of the Murthy residence. Checking her watch she thought,

4:10 that gives me 10 minutes to get to Manik's house, abb iss time pe rickshaw kahan se dhoondu? Oh God kya karu, kya karu?

Looking at the deserted street ahead she realized her only choice was to walk and hoped she would find some rickshaw on her way there.

4:58 am

Nandini looked at her watch, looked at the door in front of her and looked upwards towards the slowly brightening night sky. She prayed silently and was about to knock when the door was yanked open. With wide eyes she looked at her nightmare, Manik, smirking down at her with an evil glint in his eyes.

Yanking her inside he pushed her against the closed door and trapped her by flocking his arms on either side of her. He bend down and stared hard at her and whispered,

You are late spot. You are very late. 20 minuted kahan thana maine toh time dekha hai (he grabbed and pulled at her left wrist) ghaddi toh hai, chalu bhi hai, toh phir problem tum ho.

Nandini stared at Manik, she felt his hot breath on her face, she could see the anger brewing in his eyes but she was furious. She mustered all the courage she had and pushed hard against his chest.

Main problem hoon. Main. Nahin problem tum ho, tum aur tumhare yeh pagaal dost. 4 baje. 4 baje you called me aur kyun, kyunki janab ko breakfast chahiye tha. Who do you think I am - Aladdin, ki mere paas magic lamp hai and I will rub it and Voila magic genie ayega aur mujhe tumhare cheese sandwiches, fruit bowls laake dega. And not only that phir mein raat ko 4 baje mere magic flying carpet pe bethke tumhara stupid sa breakfast tumhe deliver karungi. You should be grateful that I even came.

Breathing heavily, with her index finger pointing at his face she stared hard at him, when it hit her. She felt drained she looked down and her eyes filled up, she looked up and was about to apologize when Manik heaved her up on to his shoulder.

5:06 am

Cold. She felt cold. She realized she had hard time breathing, because he had thrown her into the pool. Kicking she pushed herself towards the surface when he growled,

Spot ho. Spot. Yaad ayya. Jab tak puri tarah dry nahi ho jati ghar ke andaar mat anna.

He turned around and walked inside the house slamming the door hard.

Coughing hard she pulled herself out of the freezing water. She looked down at her clothes and realized she was wearing her PJ's under her jacket. Shrugging off the jacket she tried to squeeze out as much water as she could from her dripping clothes.

Nandu, stupid Nandu, stupid. Kya soch rahi thi tu? You yelled at him abb pata nahin woh kya karega.Aaiappa kiss musibat mein daal diya? Please jaldi se sukhne do yeh kapde 7 baje ke andar ghar pohochna hai warna chacha chichi. Nandini you are so dead.

He was breathing hard. He was mad; he grabbed the nearby flower vase and threw it across the room.

He looked up and saw Dhruv standing next to the broken vase looking at him.

Smiling slightly he nodded his head and started walking when he saw a bag on the floor. Spilling the contents on the floor he looked at Dhruv smiling and said,

Shivering Nandini looked down at her clothes. She wasn't entirely dry but at least she wasn't dripping water. She walked inside the house praying when

Turning around she saw him leaning against the far wall and he was smiling which is never a good sign. With a heavy heart she was walking towards him dreading what was to come.

Entering the room she was shocked.

Filthy.

That's the only work that crossed her mind. There were pizza boxes on the floor, pop cans thrown all over the room, chip packets everywhere. Half eaten pizza slices, banana, orange peels all over the sofa, table almost on every furniture.

Guys, lets welcome Spot jisko maine bulaya tha 4:20 ko aur jo ayyi hai poore 1 hour late 5:20 ko. Aur madam ne breakfast bhi laya hai, chole. But sadly Nandu humne toh khaliya so abb yeh khana waste nahin kar sakte so you will eat it. All of it. Serve madam ko hum karenge, her lovely breakfast with a few changes.

Smirking Manik grabbed her arm and pulled her towards the dining table where there was a bowlful of her chachi's chole.

Khao spot.

She put a spoonful of chole in her mouth and was about to spit it out when she heard him speak,

No spitting out the food spot. Waste karogi tum, tumhare chachi ke world famous chole. Swallow it.

She could taste the extra spicy and extra salty chole. Holding back her tears she swallowed and coughing hard she was reaching for the water when he barked again,

Nahin. NO No spot, khate samay no water. Here have some banana smoothie. Iss mein milk, bananas, soya sauce, ketchup salt and many more ingredients hai. Drink it spot. Drink.

Arrey behenji idhar face karna. Chole khate hue kya expressions diye tune. My viewers will simply love it, abb smoothie pite hue different expressions dena. Action.

Pushing aside the bowl she yelled,

No. I am not going to do this. This is inhuman, Manik I am sorry I couldn't get your desired breakfast. I thought something would be better than nothing isliye mein chole layi thi, agar tumhe khana nahin tha toh waste kyun kiya? And mein late isliye thi because raat ko 4 baje there was no rickshaw, chalke anna pada mujhe. But nahin tum kyun samjhoge galti meri hai right so here I am sorry.

With tears running down her face she stood strong facing her tormentors.

Grabbing her phone and wallet she ran away as far away from him as possible.

Getting off the rickshaw Nandini prayed silently hoping her chachi would still be sleeping. Entering her house quietly she was walking up the stairs when she heard her chachi,

Nandu, kaha thi? Woh bhi itne subhe subhe?

Chachi mein woh actually uhmmm, walk pe gayi thi.

Walk pe tu, woh bhi PJ's mein? Chal theek hai ja college ke liye ready ho ja mein breakfast lagati hoon. Waise sunn kya tune mere kal raat ke chole dekhe? Jarur tere chacha ji ne raat ko chup chup ke khayye honge. Anne de unko.

Ignoring her chachi's banter she walked up to her room, throwing herself on her bed she looked at her watch and thought,

6:45 am. Aaiappa what a morning, will Manik forget kya hua ajj? I hope usse temporary amnesia ho jaye, please god ajj bachale, I hope yeh 9'O clock kabhi na aye. (Achooo) Nahin I hate (Achoo) getting sick (Achoo) ajj ka din he bura hai (Acchoo).
