So perhaps they are giving this show a little bit of the desi flavour as well as the backstory.

So it's not the exact same thing.

Its the same story. Plot wise.

Though the changes is made after the spot girl.

But it isn't allowed to copy a story/plot/concept without giving the due credits right?

It's not like BOF was original.

Hana yori dango, it's a Japanese manga.

There's a Taiwanese version which was the first major hit for the saga. There's also a Japanese version which was also a hit. Then there's the Korean version which was also hugely popular. It makes sense that the next adaptation would be Indian.

I'm hoping there'd be less gruesome scenes than in BOF and more desi flavours.

The characterization, story & development is different..it's just the basic idea & some scenes that are similar..
Gruesome phase is over long back.. Phew!

Even from hyd.they have changed screenply and all characters
here.they had given desi twists and tadkas here.

I love the lead. He's so cute. And not a half bad actor. Usually MTv shows have cringe worthy acting but this one isn't bad at all. Looking forward to watching it .😳

Not really. Falling over kiss, store lock up, hero shoulder grabbing heroine, almost kiss scenes... it happens pretty much in every Indian love story soap.

Although it must be said Malik' s dressing with all those patterns ...totally Lee Min Ho 😆 And Druvs Kpop hairstyle 😆

how can you compare manik style with jun pyo style? Jun pyo was
completely classy.
Jandi was annoying there, nandini is too intelligent here.here
everything is gradual, making ppl believe how rich spoil brat who
is wrost wrost than jun pyo falling for innocent compassionate nandini.
Ya.as I said many scenes from many shows. But still cabir secret,
Harshad secrets, meterite accident makes this story special.
