Here's a thought or two for you to sleep with that might be nicer than the sight of KS running after Prithvi to get his ring back:
KS is a small-town girl who once had a lot of faith in a simple life. She had principles and beliefs and she probably put all her faith behind them. Then she entered the world that she dreamt of and found that it was a lot more complex, with shades of grey, where young men espoused ideals that they didn't believe and mother-figures cared more for money than their blood.
It came to pass one day that that real world destroyed her faith and her belief systems, and she learnt that blinding faith is not enough to make the world go around. (Strangely, do you remember she actually said that to AK on the night that they "technically" got married? I guess she didn't believe it would be true for her...)
So then, she abandoned true love and settled for a good solid friend. I think she believes that she will be able to control her heart and her desires so that her good solid friend will get what he wants (as EVIL KS mom said).
But just as she had to find out the hard way that blind belief in love was not sufficient to make a nest for her little family, she will (I suspect) find out that she cannot control all circumstances so as to give perpetual happiness to her best friend. Prithvi was immensely hurt yesterday by her actions, and today, she tries to make up for the hurt. She will probably think that she can make sure that she will never hurt him again. But she most probably will end up doing that.
So here's the prediction: it will take her time, and Prithvi is going to end up getting hurt again and again, for little KS will learn the hard way that there is no giving happiness to someone when you are really in love with someone else.
I suspect all of us are really waiting to see that KS can be friends with Prithvi again without (a) breaking his heart so very badly that he will never fall in love with anyone else and (b) keeping that friendship meaningful, even when she is back together with AK.
Give her time; she is a girl who makes mistakes and learns and does things slowly, because after all, she is a small-town girl and not like us fast-life, fast-learner city girls. (Oh, but wait, isn't Airhead Anitah one of those??? Ugh, I take it back about our being city girls!)
Give her time, and in the meantime, concentrate on those promos in pink. Just remember to tell yourself that they will take a little while longer in coming true. :-)
(Can you tell that I'm seriously sleep-deprived? You all at the Forum are a plague on my sleep, I tell you! Curses! :-) )
