Engagement ring on the wrong finger

An engagement ring is worn by a woman on her left-hand ring finger. Left hand ring finger because vena amoris (vein of love, this vein runs directly from the heart to the finger) is located on the ring finger of the left hand.

So why did Kripa wear her engagement ring on the ring finger of her right hand?
