Angad or Iqbal?

Hi there,

After reading Iqbal's response to "ree-situations in real-life", my fondness for his on-screen character Angad has only grown by leaps and bounds.Angad is a rare breed of men...men-in-love, perhaps just 0.1% of the whole male population.

By the way, I found Iqbal's answer rather weird when he said that if he had a friend stuck in a similar situation as Angad, he would ask him to move on instead of staying stuck to that particular girl......excuse me? Mess up a girl's life beyond repair and "move on"? Forget all that you have done to her and move on?

No wonder then......I have always chosen Angad over Iqbal and so have many of you.

Ya, u cant do such a thing to a girl and then move on!!!!! For God's sake it's somebody's life u've almost destroyed. U just cant MOVE ON like that!!!!!

Exactly.Iqbal's answer made me adore Angad even more.Angad is capable of something that Iqbal and others can't even think of.

i totally agree with the answer given by iq! try to mend what u can but if it goes beyond what u can handle, forget it and move on! everyone mekes mistakes, u realised, repend and try to make ammends. if it works, well and good. if not forget it and move on! what do u gain by putting everyone's life in misery and live those past memories?

as they say, let bygones bygones! yesterday is history, today is the present and tomorrow is a mystery!

I feel Iqbal has neva been into such situation in his real life...and may be if he would be in angads place he would do the same.... 😕

how much do we know iqbal...and more over the interview was a great read ...but how do u know that iqbal meant all of it ..people do maintain an onscreen image..and its fair also ...its the part of show biz..

Well Nits ... even I think that Angad's resolve at working on keeping his r/ship alive & atoning for his sins (in a rather adorable, albeit gutwrenching way) makes us luv him more and more with each passing day..... coz, deep down we all like to blieve that THE man in our life would fight tooth n nail to win (back) his tru love & offcourse the delish eye candy helps us luv him that extra bit more (rite H!?!) 😉 😉

And u ritely said ... very few ppl in REAL life wud have the mettle to select a thorny road for themselves and go to such lengths to make amends with a luved one ..... I have found (thru personal experience - u mite(not) agree with me here) that with relatively new r/ships (such as in case of Angad & Kripa) ppl r prone to give up more easily when a falling-out occurs .... but with old, mellowed,matured r/ships, it is the opposite: Its that much hard to let go and therefore ppl hang on that much longer, fight it out, hang on to all the cherished times they have shared together... and give up only as the Very last resort....

And OTOH ... there r some ppl who just give up easily reasoning that ' why bother, maybe some things (incl. r/ships) are just not meant to be'.

So it depends which side of the fence u belong to....
As far as IQ answering this ques is concerned, I think we are being harsh on him..... because we r soo hooked onto KYPH, I think 90% of us (willingly or unwillingly) translate angad's reel life personality traits onto him as well.... we kinda think that IQ behaves and reacts like Angad does .... but in reality, he may be diff..... and we cant fault him for that.... (only Dinks knows best)... Dont worry dinks, I am not prying !!!

But getting bk, I think, its kinda like the 'book-cover Syndrome' .... u know like a book with a frontcover picture of a hero on it .... when we read the bk ... we start seeing the guy in the text AS THE GUY on the frontcover .....even though, the two mite be totally diff, persona wise....

So, personally i feel it wasnt an apt question to ask IQ in the first place.... he would be tired of being asked if u were angad , if angad did this, wud you tooo.....We shud try n keep the reel character away frm the real person .... that's what I say ..... wat say u Nits .... Hope I made some sense???
