First and Foremost, a very sincere thanks to Lakshmi (Global Moderator) for alloting me a new password so fast! Thanks Lakshmi, you are a chum, as always!😛 Secondly, a very heartfelt thanks to all of you for the innumerous PM's and goodwishes, they are very much cherished & valued....I will reply to all of them one by one! Thirdly, this is just a general post to say hi again, to all to the oldies and a hello there, to the newbies!
Since, I have nothing much to write on KYPH and I really don't want to bore you guys to death with details of my marriage, I will mention something about a recent movie that I just saw....Yahaan! Since I am from an Army background, I can correctly say that it is one of the most authentic movies made till date and I recommend it for a one time watch to all of you! The entire movie is shot in and around Srinagar and has been filmed in some rather dangerous locations, where shoot-outs are almost a daily feature!
The movie revolves around the love story of an Indian Captain (a Hindu) and a local Kashmiri girl (a Muslim) and how their love is considered balsphemous by the society, the terrorist groups, the girl's family and even the army brass, but they overcome all obstacles and their love trimphs in the end.......definitely one of the better love stories I have seen till date! The love story shown against the war backdrop was very emotional and soft, and some of the scenes truly touched my heart!
Some of the army-terrorist encounter scenes shown in the movie are excellent and extremely realistic, but the movie is truly made up of its lighter moments, especially the whole romance build-up between the principal characters, Aman and Adaa! I loved the very first scene of the movie, when Aman points his gun towards Adaa (by mistake) in one of his patrolling duties, and how his jaw is left open after seeing her face......quite a lovely, romantic scene! Jimmy Shergill is looking every inch an army-wallah, he has acted superbly....I didn't like the girl too much, her dialouge delivery seemed very laboured, but overall she was decent! The creme-la-creme of the movie, is the amazingly well-picturized and superbly composed song, ''Naam Adaa Likhna''..........the song just captures the essence of Kashmir so well!
If you guys are getting bored of KYPH, you should see this movie once atleast, I am sure you will love it!
Coming back to KYPH........from what I have read of the updates and posts, I think one thing is becoming clear, that Kripa and Prithvi will not get married.......there is really little reason for them doing so, since our resident Devdas, Angad is hell-bent on ruining himself and is on the fast track to it......so once he has completly broken down, what else would be left for Kripa to destroy in him.........and anyway, Kripa is still in love with Angad, else she would have just ignored him and not get blood-thirsty for revenge. Once you are truly over a person, you don't care whether that person is happy or sad, successful or failed, living or dying....you just ignore....but it seems like, Kripa is obessed with Angad as much as he is with her, only the means are different, he is obessed with seeing her happy, she is obsessed with seeing him in grief!
So we have hope guys..................😃 for Kripa to come back to her senses and for Angad to get some spine in his back!
Cheers,
Chilly
