AK Love - Irrational?

A number of times in KYPH, Angad keeps reminding Kripa how she is his biggest downfall, how his love for her has been his biggest weakness.. now that I am watching the old episodes all over again.. sadly but surely, I can see what he meant.. I mean she did send him to jail, made him ruin his career - not once but twice, and basically just broke him a number of times.

In turn, Angad has done pretty much the same too. She lost her baby because of him, got humilated, got kicked out, revamped her life - even changed her identity and lost contact with her people.

So, that makes me wonder, what was it about that that drew them to each other inspite of it all? Why did they want each other so badly that they ruined everyone's lives in the process and yet all they could give each other was a few moments of happiness but alot more pain?

Was what they had true love, or was it unreasonable passion? Isn't love about trust, comfort and understanding? Because I saw Kanan and Prithvi's (initial) love being those things. But never those things in the love that Angad and Kripa had..

So my question is, what made the love they had for each other rise above the love of those many other people who came into their lives? Why could they not love anyone else other than each other? Yes - I know they were the main lead and it was their love story but how can their love be rationalised?

according to me there are somethings in life that cannot be explained rationally. kripa and angad may be blaming each other , but often it happens that the person whom we think we hate is actually the person we love more than our lives.and since they were each other's first "true love" so that i think was reason enough for them to stay together.

Perhaps I should rephrase.. what is it that they saw in each other that drew them together? What did they fall in love with? What drew them to each other time and again? Why couldnt they see the other with someone else? What made their love so strong and passionate?

Help me dissect their love, because I dont like any other couple on telly as much as I like them...😉

hmmmmmmm.... seeing we were told Angad and Kripa's every emotion.. every thought... every feeling.... EVERYTHING!.. this should be an easy question... but it's not. lol.

It was a lot of things. I mean in the beginning they hated each other and it was the idea that they had never met someone like each other before that they felll in love... Angad had never seen anyone as stubborn as Kripa and Kripa began to see in him is "bhram" or her dream man.

They probably though this will be a 2-day affair... or like anyother boyfriend/girlfriend relationship.

But I think what really sparked the strength of their relationship was Kripa's Birthday... the fact that they expressed each other's love/dream to be togteher forever and finally trust by sleeping together. At least for Kripa, I am sure that had she not trusted Angad and loved him from the bottom of his heart and had not felt the same from his side... she would have never slept with him. SO i think that night really was that brick that truly formed and stabilized the builing... their relationship.

After that every moment they spent together simply built their relationship. and eventually when they seperated... i think that those strong emotions and feelings they had built for each other in that short period of time that allowed their love to live even while they were seperated and it was that same bond that quickly brought them back together as soon as their misunderstandings were cleared.

See, I dont think you can explain love. I mean...there isnt really a reason why two people fall in fall, its sounds filmy but I think it really does just happen to happen.
For Angad and Kripa...yeah it is strange because in porportion the happiness they gave eachother, or even the trust, or respect or love was very less compard to the hate and pain they gave eachother. And with all these people like mishti, Kanan, Prithvi (befre) and Nishant around them...it would be typical for them to fall out of love with eachother. But I guess Love it self is very irrational.I would think it was like Angad and Kripa were very different so when put together...they felt complete because somehting they both were missing became a part of their lives. But I think...like everyone else was ready to give them the world with all its happiness...so maybe they didnt want that, maybe they wanted that challenge they found in eachother. Uff i dunno dis is irritated. 😆
