Suvarna Jha, aka Mishti of Kaisa ye Pyar Hai (Sony), is dating two men.
SWEET NOTHINGS: Abhay Doel and Suvarna Jha
Sources say Suvarna is dating Dharmendra's nephew Abhay Deol and Indian Idol contestant Amit Tandon at the same time.
Suvarna knows Abhay (who made his debut in Socha Na Tha) from before he joined the film industry. "I have know Abhay for two years now; we have a lot of common friends," says Suvarna.
Just good friends (yawn)
At a bash to celebrate the re-opening of Rock Bottom on June 15, Suvarna and Abhay were seen snuggling up. "So what? Abhay and I had met after three months. We hugged each other and spent quality time exchanging notes," says Suvarna.
Jha has been to Abhay's Juhu home a couple of times, but says she doesn't know the Deols yet. She claims she and Abhay are not dating.
"We are very good friends. We keep in touch via phone or SMS, but aren't seeing each other. I am aware that Abhay and I are being talked about as a couple, but don't know how this rumour started."
Sources say Suvarna is also having a scene with Amit Tandon, who plays Prithvi (her brother) in Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai.
Tandon "has fallen hook, line and sinker for Suvarna's charms", they add. "Suvarna and Tandon cannot take their eyes off each other on the sets. Even after the director calls out "cut", the couple is still staring at each other." The two first met at Sankraman Studios.
Suvarna Jha made her TV debut in Sanjay Khan's Jannnat (Doordarshan), followed by a brief role in Krishna Sharma CA (Star Plus) and the Cinevistaas film Sssshhh..., in which she played the pushy and possessive Gehna.
Suvarna also has a cameo in Ekta Kapoor's forthcoming flick Koi Aapsa.
