Angad's cross is gone

In yesterdays episode Angad looked really different, I noticed that first of all he got new clothes (Thank you Ekta, God Bless you), and he also got rid of his cross. I think Angad taking his cross off symbolizes the end of him being a rock star, and the transition of Kripa becoming one. Or, then again, maybe he forgot to put it on. What do you guys think??
