Tina and Hussain Kuwajerwalla

What's their diet?
Hussain:
Chawanprash, dry fruits and coconut water is a must. As the competition day approaches, I am completely avoiding outside food.
Tina: Till 12 noon, I gorge on fruits, dry fruits and light snacks.
They practice for at least two hours every night. Says Tina, "We always begin with a warm-up and gradually become so enthusiastic that our trainer has to bully us into stopping for the day." Adds Hussain, "We compete with ourselves. Both Tina and I make it a point to learn new steps and push ourselves that extra mile."
Trainer's verdict: Harshall, the Western dance expert and Vitthal, the Indian and folk dance expert are the couple's choreographers. Says Harshall, "The chemistry and dedication that Hussain and Tina share is amazing. Both of them are keen on learning new steps and are a joy to train as they learn quickly."

Gouri and Yash Tonkk

What's their diet?
Gouri:
"I have lost so much weight that I have had to alter my clothes! My diet consists of food that is energising and healthy. I don't believe in living on boiled vegetables!
Yash: I avoid eating heavy food.
They practice for three to four hours a day.
Trainer's verdict: Deepak Singh, the couple's choreographer, says, "I enjoy seeing these people dance since they share brilliant chemistry and enjoy themselves while dancing. Gouri is graceful and elegant and Yash is a master of expressions."

Bakhtyaar Irani and Tanaaz Lal

What's their diet?
Tanaaz:
Instead of gorging on junk or oil-heavy food, I have been upping my intake of roasted and baked items.
Bakhtyaar: Light breakfast, proper lunch with lots of vegetables. Cornflakes and milk, bananas, almonds and dates are a must.
They practice for six hours a day and also count on the blessings of Siddhivinayak every Tuesday.
Trainer's verdict: Mini Johni says, "When they began they were a bit hesitant about doing difficult moves. Although Bakhtyaar is a professional dancer, he was a bit self-conscious and stiff initially. Moreover, I also had to deal with the fact that they have a fixed image of being comedians. So, I just brought in a slight variatiaon to their acts and retained the element of cuteness."

Hiten Tejwani and Gauri Pradhan

What's their diet?

Hiten: Junk food is a no-no.
Gauri: After the painstaking dance rehearsals for Nach Baliye, I gorge on homemade food. However, I eat a lot of roasted stuff which helps me stay fit.
They practice for three to four hours a day.
Trainer's verdict: Arvind Thakur, the couple's choreographer, says, "Hiten and Gauri are not born dancers but are realising their potential now."
