Hey all? How are you all today? Hope everyone is doing great!!!😊
Okay so tell me, does anyone apart from me think that the kyph people have a serious problem with the term 'follow-up'? So yesterday they showed just about one of the most sizzling confrontations ever, followed by that soul stirring revelation; and today it's back to slinging mud at each other, verbal dueling and accusations flying to and fro.
Kripa's back to viewing everything that Angoo baby does with barely veiled mistrust and antagonism and Angad's back to his plotting and planning and maneuvering of people and situations. Oh and I do believe that lover boy is also fast waking up to the realization that he wants his girl back. Good! Good!
Meanwhile, it's back to the battlefield for both of them. Go, Fight club!!!😃
So the episode started off with Kripa going to visit her 'husband' in jail. And unless I'm very much mistaken it was the selfsame jail as the one where they stowed away our innocent, helpless and hapless hero, Angad. And begging pardon from all Prithvi fans, I just have to say that it did my heart good to see him behind bars, no matter for how short a while. He might as well make himself comfy there; since that's where he's destined to end up when his 'little mistake' comes to light. You know what the thing with him is, if you manage to overlook the fact that he's a cold-blooded killer and a hopeless Kripa addict; then he actually seems like quite a great guy. However I, fortunately or unfortunately, can never even contrive to do so.
Seeing Kripa he tried to put on a brave face and asked how she was and enquired about Damini and Mishty and then lamented the fact that he had ruined Mishty's day for her. Yup! After that 'Strictly come Dancing' party, the arrival of the police must have had been a bit of a dampener. He was going crazy with worry, trying to figure out who had forged his signatures on the fake documents and landed him in all this trouble. And then looking her in the eye he stated with extreme earnestness that he hadn't done it, and Kripa looking back at him replied simply that she knew and that she trusted him. And that right there ladies, is the problem; the root of the root and the bud of the bud of the trouble. That she has always placed her unwavering trust in just about everyone and everything apart from Angad. And Prithvi for her has been some kind of saint right from the start anyway. Oh well, no fear…..his pedestal is going to come crashing down too one day, all right.
So there they both stood looking worried and miserable when a police officer came up to them and announced that Prithvi's bail had been set….and while both of them blubbered and spluttered about how that had come about, the policeman very kindly volunteered the information that Zaib had personally intervened with the Dubai police to clear up the misunderstanding; leaving Prithvi looking ready to fling himself at Zaib in gratitude and Kripa even more confused than ever.
Cut to Mishty calling up Zaib to thank him and him flooding her completely with pretty words about her family being his family as well, etc, etc. oh and the line from yesterday, that I thought was just too cool, when he told Kripa at the end of the episode yesterday that, 'I'm always there for you', is apparently his new signature mantra. Because he seemed to be going around telling that to just about everyone, first Krips, then Mishty, Prithvi….you name em', he's told them! But I still like to think that he only genuinely means it for Kripa, consciously or unconsciously.
So while Mishty and Damini are talking to him on the phone, Kripa for once in her life thinks that she should thank him as well but then displaying her unconscious need to see him whenever she can, thought that she would thank him in person. And this desire for face to face contact led to the cat being let out of the bag about Angad's hand in the previous day's entertainment.
The setting shifted to Angad's house and he was shown on the phone with someone, telling them to burn the proof that they had and then himself setting alight some papers. He let the burning papers drop from his hand and then stalked off to God knows where. Tut! Tut! Sweetheart, don't you know that that's a fire hazard if ever there was one. Oh, and also a dead giveaway of your nefarious plans if somebody should come calling.
Which naturally is what happened and Kripa was shown venturing forth hesitantly, calling out his name and looking for him. She doesn't find him, but she does find out the partially burned fake proof; hence spelling out very clearly for her exactly what Angad had been up to. Kripa instantaneously produced her traumatized look, which she has down so pat. No, but seriously, I guess she had thought that Angad had actually done this out of the goodness of his heart, and I guess she was clutching at straws to somehow redeem him a little in her eyes, but what the poor girl missed out on was the fact that he had only done this for her….only let Prithvi go as a result of what had finally come to light last night, to spare her and not to become a hero in everyone's eyes like she thought. Oh and as to why he did it in the first place, I can only presume that it was to fulfill his challenge to her of breaking up her marriage in a month's time. But all it resulted in was strengthening Kripa's resolve to blow his cover in front of everyone.
The second set opened with Prithvi calling up Kripa to inform her that he was hosting a dinner that night at his club and asking her to be there. And she thought that while you are planning your diner, I am trying to figure out what Angad is planning. But like a good, dutiful, little wife she went and it was only when she was there that she actually asked him who else was coming and got a bit of a nasty shock when it was revealed that it was in honor of none other than Zaib.
Zaib and Mishty came and while they were all sitting around Prithvi thanked Zaib but he simply waved away his profuse apologies and drawled out that he hadn't actually wanted to save him from this problem….and then to cover up said with great and totally fake gusto that in fact he wanted to save him from all problems. On hearing this out rightly blatant lie, Kripa made the cutest disgust filled face. And from there on Zaib continued with his spiel of unashamed lies, with Kripa mentally amending them:
~Z: I'm always there for you Prithvi!
K: that's the problem; you are there.
~Z: I'm a part of your family.
K: you want to break up our family into parts.
And then laying the groundwork for getting Kripa to sing with him; he put a business proposition before Prithvi, saying that he wanted to perform in Prithvi's shows in various cities and also wanted to finance the shows. But though Prithvi greeted the idea of Zaib performing enthusiastically, he turned down the offer of finance. And poor Kripa just sat there, suffering through this conversation silently but once back home; she let Prithvi know about her reservations. But oblivious Prithvi simply waved them away as baseless and insignificant, leaving Kripa to think darkly that she would blow Angad's cover yet and shaking her head at Prithvi's ignorant bliss, thinking that he didn't know that rather than Angad being a Godsend to solve their problems; he was their problem.
The third set opened with Mishty talking on the phone while coming down the stairs, while Kripa listened on; complaining to Zaib about not being allowed to attend his rehearsals anymore. She moved on to other topics, such as him coming over to dinner that night, but Krips is once again left pondering the mystery behind the refusal to attend the rehearsals. So she does what she's best at……going running off to Angad to see what he's up to. Lol. Very interesting observation guys; for all Kripa's talk of her marriage and Angad's engagement; she's forever chasing him, unconsciously at least. And she's the one who's always ready to pop at his place at the drop of a hat. Fascinating, no?
Kripa goes to Angad's rehearsal place (I think?) and silently comes down the stairs towards Angad who's standing with his back to her, conversing intently with his speech therapist. Apparently he hadn't practiced his 'Riyaaz' enough, with the consequent result that Zaib's voice was slipping and being replaced with Angad's natural timbre when he sang; especially high pitched notes. And he needed the doctor to correct the problem urgently, since he had to perform in a show the next week. The doctor assured him that he would try his best and gave him some special vocal exercises to remedy the trouble.
The doctor left and Angad turned around to find his soon to be better half looking into his face and the poor guy spared a quick troubled thought to wondering about whether she had heard about his little secret or not, before slipping into Zaib's mask; mockingly asking her what she was doing there. Kripa said that she had come to thank him and to wish him good luck. So the little sparring was on as usual between these two, and Zaib replied back equally disdainfully that he got why she was thanking him, but why the well wishes; leaving Kripa to sneer in his face that it was for his show. Hearing this Angad looked a bit taken aback, but then covered it up by telling her cuttingly that he had better go and call up Mishty.
He sauntered off, and Kripa who had naturally heard all of his conversation with the doctor and was as gleeful as a little kid who has a big box of candy thrust at it unexpectedly; silently vowed to herself that she would get him to sing in his own voice. She gloated that though he had succeeded in changing everything, erasing all signs of Angad (hello!!!!!!!!! The face! I repeat; the face! Oh for heaven sakes! Some guy comes and says that he's got Angad's face and his musical talent but oh, he's not Angad and everybody believes him just because he has a French beard and a fake passport now. Sheesh! Anyway, at least Kripa never brought any of that crap, thank God.) And she stood there, vowing yet again to blow Angad's cover.
The setting shifted to the Bose house at night; with Zaib bringing one of his consultants with him to dinner; all set to play his new card. And I think that this little game of one-uppance that both A-K are forever playing with each other is just so cute. Sigh! Poor, misguided, clueless souls!
So Zaib lets his consultant do his work for him; by getting him to tell Prithvi that the PR team thought that the best way to promote their forthcoming tour was by getting Mrs. Bose (soon to be Mrs. Angad Khanna, Yippee!) to do a promotional shoot with Zaib, as she still remained very popular with the masses. Kripa heard this upon coming into the room and refused pointblank, prompting Angad to ask her very innocently, why she didn't want to do it, since it was for the company's betterment. And also prompting Mishty to unsheathe her claws and sink them into Kripa, asking her nastily why she couldn't help out too, when everyone was working so hard to make this show a success.
An intense, heated and forceful A-K look followed……with Angad silently mocking her by his challenging gaze and Kripa looking back at him hostilely for putting her in this situation and then Kripa turned around and silently swept out of the room. And the camera panned into Angad's face, showing him wearing an extremely determined look. Hai, I'm thinking that I should probably start emptying trays of ice cubes over my TV at regular intervals to ensure that it doesn't sizzle out with the heat.
Prithvi went running after Kripa, of course, and told her that she didn't need to do anything that she didn't want to, it was just a suggestion and it was her life. (Yup, it is and could you please kindly butt out of it, thank you very much) he told her that he could arrange 70% of the finance and as for the other 30%......well, since Zaib was willing to invest in their company……Kripa changes her mind quickly enough on hearing this, I guess because she felt bad about not helping out Prithvi's company. And then they both came outside so that Prithvi could relay the happy news.
And Zaib was very conveniently to be found prowling at the end of the corridor outside their room. Mishty came to join them too and Prithvi told them that Kripa was ready to do the show, while both Angad and Mishty stood there looking haughty and condescending. Prithvi went off to work out the details and Mishty went off to get Zaib coffee, leaving Angad and Kripa alone, which in other words means…….Showdown time!!!!!
Kripa turned around and started to walk away but Angad doubled back behind the pillar he had been leaning against, to catch up with her (brilliant scene, btw)…..planting himself squarely in her path and wanting to know sarcastically, that so she would do anything for her husband??? Kripa lifted up her pretty little chin and bristling like a hedgehog; replied that indeed she would do anything for her husband. Angad repeated the question acerbically, "anything?" And Krips held her own totally and replied 'Yes!" however, our Angad isn't called Attitude Angad for nothing, and riling up at her concern for Prithvi, bit out, "is that a challenge?" and Kripa being equally stubborn, threw back a heated, "yes".
Angad threw down his challenge then, "Tou sun lou, in next week's concert, you'll sing with me." And then looking at Kripa's half stunned/half furious expression; sneeringly told her that he would make her sing with him. Kripa flatly told him that he needed his head checked since she was only doing this for her husband. But Angad scornfully insulted her by saying that she didn't do anything for anyone else, she wasn't capable of it; as he found out to his own cost. And then showing his steely resolve, repeated in an extremely high handed manner; "tum gao gi, tumhay gaana hi paray ga!"
I guess even she got a little worried by his forceful and intense proclamation and reminded him that she no longer sang, prompting the enigmatic dialogue of the day from Angad; " Chorii hoi cheezain, aksar waapis aakar saamnay khari ho jaati hain."
Round of applause for Angoo baby for his highly heartening philosophical talk!!! 👏👏👏
And it's so true. That's the thing with A-K, you know, they can set the ablaze the atmosphere with a single look, so imagine what it'll be like when they are married and together 24/7??? Hehe! Nice thought na?
And there was no preview….which is kind of annoying since I now have absolutely no idea about what's going to happen to tomorrow. And also kind of worrying, because why wouldn't they show one???
So, the question that arises for the very near future is as to how Angad will coerce Kripa into singing with him? And for the near distant future, how will this raging in full force fight club morph into a state of matrimony?
Hmm! Do you think that Prithvi's truth will come out? Pretty unlikely; otherwise why would they marry to get back at each other. It's more likely that Angad will probably hold some threat over Kripa's head to get her to leave Prithvi and come to him. Oh who cares anyways…….as long as they are getting married, I'm happy as happy could be!!!😃
Take care everyone!
Luv,
Amal
