prithvi's venting about the previous evening's non-marriage fiasco. he's particularly worried because karthik's his business partner. mishty appears calm and silent. prithvi becomes apoplectic, mrs. bose is just anxious. mishty is certain that she wants to be with zaib. not even a threatening prithvi can change her mind. brave girl, considering what prithvi did to josh! 😆
mother and daughter bose share a moment where mishty works to convince her mom that she's doing the right thing. mother and son khanna share a moment in khanna house. naina is really sorry for karthik. karthik is still seething about angad. now it's not even angad, it's just angad's face that is haunting him.
prithvi walks over to angad's place to chat with him about marrying mishty. and angad cooly offers him tea, sugar and refuses to marry her. prithvi becomes the beast-who-killed-josh and threatens to kill zaib/angad. despite being threatened with death, zaib/angad smirks. is this the way to talk to a person who prithvi wants to marry his sister. and prithvi bites down on all the bile and sits down. through a fierce struggle to control himself, prithvi asks what zaib/angad wants. zaib/angad wants an apology for the embarassment of the previous day.
prithvi is back home with kripa. he has never been more insulted in his life! kripa hears how angad told him he will not touch mishty until prithvi apologises. kripa understands that what zaib/angad wants is that she has to apologise.
kripa's at angad's. (i thought we should drop the zaib pretense when it's just angad and kripa alone, no? besides, it's tiring to keep writing zaib/angad! 😆) kripa asks angad to get married. angad says "sure. but you have to get divorced!" 😆 kripa wants to cut out the funny stuff - she wants angad to get married to mishty. mishty loves angad so much. angad says that life's funny - we always end up hurting the ones that we love the most. which is why he won't get married to mishty and will end up hurting her.
kripa gets mad - angad will get married to mishty. he taunts her back - she is the one who taught him how easy it is to ignore relationships and love. kripa is teary; she begs him to marry mishty. angad sneers at her. defeated, kripa walks away. but is stopped by angad calling out her name. angad agrees to marry mishty. that's when kripa really starts crying in earnest. angad asks: why do you cry so much more, when i give you what you want? or is this not what you really want?
the promo is standard stuff: prithvi telling kripa that zaib just called to tell him that he will get married to mishty. angad with daadi and mishty (? or was it kripa?) saying that he just wants to get revenge from everyone who destroyed his life. angad on the phone with kripa saying that he and mishty have exchanged engagement rings and that her plan has failed.
i have to include this: for the first time today, amit did as great an acting job as iqbal! when he was in front of zaib/angad and controlling himself, his expressions in every frame were perfect, perfect, perfect. kudos, mr. tandon. you have truly arrived.
as to neha, she was excellent until she had to resort to the glycerine-tears in her fight with angad. why can't the kyph director just leave her to do her acting without having her cry?? she can't cry realistically for toffee with all that silly glycerine! -esther
