Wow!!! H. Me really touched by what u wrote …. & I agree with whatever u have said about Love, esp that of A-K's star-crossed/ always at odds love. Many sayings came to my mind as I read over what u had written, the chief being one by Gibran:

" Hell is not in torture - Hell is in an empty heart".

How profound is this I ask u?? I guess that both Angad and Kripa are going thru a hell(albeit of someone else's making) and in doing so are giving each other the torture of the worst kind : Denying their true feelings for each other. But here's the great part: Each one thinks the other one wronged him/her and yet despite all these 'wrongs' are helpless to feel for each other … they may scratch each others eyes out, yet they turn to each other for the balm as well. Like Nits said : they are two parts of the same coin...they complete each other and they feel with an intensity that no-one can rival: neither mishty nor prithvi nor any other Don juan or Matta harri under the sun - for that matter!

Sooner or later, both will realize, what a sage once said:

"Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself.
Love possesses not nor would it be possessed;
For love is sufficient unto love."

In fact, kripa said as much when she told prithvi the day she ran out on their first enagement … "pyaar ko sirf pyaar ki zaroorat hoti hai"

I don't think she realized how prophetic she was being when she said this. In fact, she then reiterated it another way when, as Amal noted, she said before her recent break-up with angad due josh murder: that all my footsteps were taken towards you – whether or not I realized it"

And soon, I think she will also realize what a major compromise she has made with prithvi. I don't have the least bit doubt that she will (eventually) find her way back to z/angad once all the battles are done with and all the problems are solved. And, sorry to go Shakespearean on you but as the bard himself said :
"The course of true love never did run smooth." … so why should our star couple be any different : I guess its part of life: u meet your true life partner early on in life and yet because u are immature you cannot handle this r/ship as well as u shd and your ways separate … but meet again later on ( that is if life is kind enuf to give u a second chance!)

U said it beautifully when u wrote: "It is the obsacles that we face in the search for true love that strenghtens us".... and so it is with all people in love.


But equally true is the fact that when u find that special someone – u shd try tooth and nail to fight to keep the sanctity of the r/ship : many of us lose the people we luv either by being too casual abt it or by not being careful enuf : either way – when we let the outside world come in and play its dirty games – we end up moving far away frm the people that mean the most to us in life.
I was watching JAG the other day (Did I tell u I have a serious weakness for men in uniform? And that Harm 'Rab' is one gorgeous looking fella!) & I was just touched by this lil' thing one of the side characters said: "I think that when someone gives u a chance (in luv), you should try and exceed their expectations !"

Granted that " Love is hard work; and hard work sometimes hurts!" (Author unknown!) but its bounties are a manifold & something which no other emotion in the world can even come close to matching!.

And this is what I would like to put on the engraved invitation that I'm going to send to Angad and Kripa.....it is the mantra that I chant each day as I watch the two of them tear each other apart, and it is what gets me through all their misunderstandings....the fact that they belong together and despite everything.....love does conquer all.
