I got to thinking (that's dangerous 😆 ) about all the different reasons we say that Zaib and Mishty should or should not get married....and I needed to put pen to paper, so here goes.
Mishty was led to believe that something was there between her and Angad. Naina was the one who put those thoughts in her head. Mishty might have been infatuated and that turned to love, but it is unrequited....it was then and it is now.
Zaib marrying Mishty would be unfair to three people....Mishty for one, who deserves a man who can give her all the happiness in the world.....Zaib / Angad, who still cries silent tears in solitude for Kripa, and Kripa ,who despite all her statments to the contrary constantly thinks of Angad, and like him, in her heart of hearts cries for him.
As for Prithvi getting his love.....well, Ill-gotten gains never prosper!!! Prithvi might have "gotten his love" but his love doesn't love him in return. She is his wife, yes.....but in name only.
As for Zaib / Kripa.....they can never fight the course of love....love, once it enters your life, changes you profoundly...your outlook on life, you behaviour, your life, basically changes and when that person loves you in return, there is no better feeling....no better reason to live.
It reminds me of Kahlil Gibran's words:
"Love has no other desire but to fulfil itself. But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires: To melt and be like a running brook that sings it melody to the night. To know the pain of too much tenderness. To be wounded by your own understanding of love; And to bleed willingly and joyfully. To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving; To rest at the noon hour and meditate love's ecstasy; To return home at eventide with gratitude; And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips."
Angad and Kripa yearn for each other, they hurt each other and themselves in the process.....before all this, they laughed when the other laughed, cried when the other cried...they rejoiced in their love. They had each other on their minds when they woke and before they slept.....Their every breate is filled with the other, be it in anger, in "hatred" in love.....they are soulmates who, despite what fate might have in store for them right now, belong to each other.....are whole only with each other.
With regards to trust, betrayal and second chances....well, the path to true love is never easy.
It is the obsacles that we face in the search for true love that strenghtens us....and when you do find that one special person.....if you can get through all the obstacles that life throws yourway, and still have the name of your beloved on your lips and in your heart....then you know that you don't belong to anyone else.
This is the case with Angad and Kripa.....despite all their obstacles (themselves being their biggest ones right now), they will find their way back to each other.....their is no other way to it,as this is what is meant to be!!
