she had the right to be angry but not to be cruel .but she did so bcoz she wanted to hurt angad she thinks that she cannot hurt hin emotinally, what she can do is to hurt him physically thats the reason for her testimony against angad .but one more thing her testimony is not the reason for punishing him .Evenif her testimony was in his favour he will be punished bcoz she is his girlfriend & her testimony will not be considered in the court.
but now its angads turn now he have the right to torture her otherwise he will not get her ,evenif she comes to know that angad was innocent she will not return to him bcoz she is married to prithvi who was with her thru think n thin .she will do the same what she did earlier [marry prithvi sacrifise her love for her friend].angads revenge will lead to the the evil side of prithvi which will clear all the misunderstandings between angad &kripa

Just like we do not know what cat and mouse we are talking about - i do not know what 'slapping half of the cast in ther serial' that dinky is referring to.
