Hi All,
Many may or may not know me but let me tell you although I do not actively reply to the discussions (please forgive me for that as I know I do not have any excuse for that) I do know a lot of you and love this show and you for making this place so great.
Lately we are all so engulfed in trying to trying to point out whether one actor is being overly criticized or whether the another actor's relative has taken a negative stand or not.
We have also seen a lot of messages go out asking to refrain and bring this forum back to being full of fun and without controversies. Unfortunately instead of reducing this has just been in fact on the rise. More and more topics are strayed from the main theme and the underlying messages are lost. Hence there are a lot of times we the development team need to step in. Its not that always your topic was wrong and we are sadist and get pleasure closing the healthy discussions but it was due to the fact the discussion had a potential to be blown out of proportion and there are a lot of personal sentiments coming into to play. Not everyone share the same wavelength in understanding the messages where to draw the line on being real or fictional. Every time one person's stand gets diffused another crops up and this ends up in a blame game.
For those who love these celebrities it's thanks to you that we have an entertainment industry and I am sure your hero's are proud to have you supporting them. But what you have to also realize that you do not know them and so you need to not get emotionally caught up with comments or disparagement made on them. Celebrities like to be known and they thrive on all you love and support and hence the image portrayed may not be totally true. There have been posts asking you not to take celebrities seriously and in a lot of ways this helps in a forum like this as we treat all equal and even celebrities have a right to voice their opinion and viewpoint.
I am not saying that anyone is wrong because it depends on each one's perspective and their outlook. I have been talking to a lot of people on the forum and let me assure you they all have been very helpful in helping me understand all sides of the story. I am so glad to be privileged to be given feedback from people till this controversies started I did not know but now are my friends. And given we are such a huge family difference in opinions are bound to happen. But lets all also think more positively when we write. Criticisms and displeasure is always welcome to be voiced but this needs to be done with respect. I do not know if the term is bashing or jingoism but lets not debate on that and lets move ahead and be nice and respectful to all.
Here is a sincere request lets start fresh leaving behind the controversies as to who said what and how defamed whom. Lets not discuss anything personal on the forum about any stars personal life (sorry I feel that I need to define this here) and please refrain on going overboard on any criticisms. If someone is hurt please understand his or her sentiments and try to phrase the point in a better manner if that is something constructive.
We are looking for all you to help us. I know I get a lot of PM;s saying what a good job we do but the credit goes to each and every member here who help us to make this happen. Without all your valuable inputs, discussions and priceless feedbacks we could not have done it. We know that no one in this forum intentionally wants to create a downbeat or miserable environment. I think some of you may be under the misconception that the mods/viewbies tend to be biased or partial based on their closeness with some members. Let me assure you that that is not the case and there are always discussions behind the scene and if some one did make some mistake they are pointed out. After all it's human to err. But if you do see someone please feel to raise it offline so we can question the situation and not jump into any conclusion.
Lets all pat us in the back and hug each other and forget all the unpleasantness and lets make this place instead of a stress builder a stress reliever. The development team have tried their best to put a rest to the all the controversies and have tried our best to look at the situations from different point of views and have approached the concerned but if the controversies continue in the same fashion we will be taking the matter further and will be forced to take serious actions in the given situation. We really do not want anyone to be upset so lets resolve this by what a lot of the others have been trying to say in their messages.
So what are we waiting for lets start from today to give a little thought to what we write and a little heed to whom we are writing about and a little respect to our friends who we write for. I am sure all of us adding this little bit to our daily routine will help to make this place a mountainful of fun and excitement .We all know IF ROCKS and KYPH RULES on IF.
