He has played all sorts of father roles " comic, strict disciplinarian and serious " on the tube. His latest outing, a show based on the novel 'Those Pricey Thakur Girls', features him as a father yet again. He will play a judge, who loves his five daughters. He is authoritative to an extent, but also has a humourous side. "The father will have light and serious moments with his daughters. He is a progressive father," says a source associated with the show. The actor didn't revert to our text message.

Hey all, it's bad or good thing I don't know...bt it's true dat thr is no ny time slot left in zee tv,star plus nd colors...so I think PRICEY thakur will b in new channel 'zee & tv' which will start from 2nd march...so suku's show has 70% probability in releasing in dat new channel...😭

It's only my thinking at dis time bcz all d channels r full..😭

bt I don't want her show to b released in new channel...😕

It's better if it releases in a new channel. Less chances of it staying good and not becoming a saas bahu soap due to TRP pressure

Beautiful actress, Sukirti Kandpal, who stole many hearts portraying the role of Dr. Riddhima in Star One' popular show Dill Mill Gayye, has bagged an upcoming TV show based on the Anuja Chauhan's popular novel Those Pricey Thakur Girls.'

She was last seen as a contestant in Color's Bigg Boss 8, and was unfortunately the first contestant to be evicted from the show.

Sukirti has been roped in to star opposite Sanjeeda Sheikh's husband, Aamir Ali, who was last seen doing a cameo in Star Plus' Ek Hasina Thi. The show will feature Sukriti as the female lead and Aamir as a news anchor.

The story is said to revolve around five sisters, and will highlight the life of the protagonist, played by Sukriti. Certain circumstances will force Sukirti to join Aamir's journalist team.

As per the latest news, &TV has bought the rights for the famous novel Those Pricey Thakur Girls' and is set to air the show soon in the month on February.

For those uninitiated, &TV is an upcoming channel under the Zee network banner and is set go on air from March 2nd, 2015.
