Episode starts with Rajveer's mother asking Simran to sing a song. Simran sings the song, everyone smile and like it. Tauji asks Mr Khanna about his profession and he slips dhaba. Dimpi's father makes a story to cover it up and when when his village names was asked again they make story of visiting many villages. Then Tauji tells about his own family and Mr Khanna says his daughter is hard working. Everyone looks happy. Jhumri asks a puzzle to Simran and she gives the right ans. Taiji likes Simran and Dadi wants to end the questioning. Jhumri asks about a food recipe Simran doesnt know. she tricks and calls Raj's Hoshiyar to know the recipe and he helps her. She repeats the recipe infront of the ladies. Jeevanlal gets up and thinks he has to act infront of Tau ji. He thinks he will help Simran, and fight with Tau ji. The women comes out and say Tau ji that they like the girl. They bring Simran down. Rajender asks Tau ji about the proposal. Jeevanlal enters in a drunk state. He says some shayari. Everyone are shocked.
Rajender is shocked too. Simran gets tensed as he will spoil everything. Tau ji asks who are you. Jeevanlal says I'm Simran's dad. Tau ji, Khanna, Daddu, Baldev, Hoshiyar and Rajender are shocked, even the women look stunned. Tau ji asks Khanna about what Jeevanlal is saying. Khanna says he is my daughter's old dad. Tau ji does not understand. Rajender says he is Simran's Maternal Uncle. Rajender cooks up another story. Khanna asks Jeevanlal to be silent. Khanna says my daughter did not get mother's love. I worked for her and stayed far from her, and Jeevanlal looked after her. Dadi asks this to Simmi and she agrees.
