Its a thin road.An auto rikshaw just stopped in front of a small
house...A beautiful girl gets down with a lot of bags in her hand
(groceries)...She must be in her early twenties and looking at her u
know that she is a no nonsense kind of girl...She gets down with a
frustrated look on her face,thinking "unneccessarily i had to take
this auto even when the shop is in a walkable distance...i shld have
taken somebodies help...see such a waste of money...rs.10 is
gone"...The rikshaw guy starts demanding her that she had too much of
luggage and she will have to pay extra money...She gets annoyed with
this and says that she is not going to pay a single penny more...she
says if he requested her then may be it wld have been different but
now she doesnt think that he deserves to get a single penny more...so
there starts a typical fight and being a typical shrude girl she
doesnt give up and raises her voice equally and puts that guy at his
place...
Since it is a thin road and only one vehichle at a time can pass,
because of their fight,one car gets stalled behind that rikshaw...so
the guy inside the car has been observing the whole fight...First he
admired the girl and the way she is fighting, but suddenly he started
getting annoyed as he doesnt like women talking in loud voices...A
very old man comes out of the house saying"kashish beta, what's the
matter?"...she explains the whole thing and the matter gets resolved
and finally the rikshaw and so the car behind that rikshaw move from
there....
Sujal who is inside the car heard that old man calling her name and
repeated the name to himself"Kashish...hm,sweet name for a beautiful
girl...but look at the girl...she is so rude and loud...God help the
person who is going to marry her"

Its a nice restaurant...Piyush is waiting for somebody...then comes a
beautiful girl for whom he is waiting...she has a sweet and
apolegetic smile on her face...piyush says"Kashish...what is this? I
always have to wait for u for such a long time...u never come in
time"...
Kashish: Sorry piyush...actually chandru sent a message that he
wanted to meet me in the book store...so i went there...but bad
luck...he did not come there...
Piyush:oh...that's okay...so how is chandru?
Kashish: what can i say abt him? he is becoming more and more
unpredictable...he is not even coming home these days...i'm really
worried abt him piyush....
piyush: Dont worry kashish..everything will be fine...please dont be
so sad...i cant see u like that...
Kashish:Thanks for being there for me piyush....u r the only one whom
i can trust and share all my feeling with...
Piyush:ok ok..now tell me what shall we do...
Kashish:what do u mean by what shall we do...lets order
something...icecream?
Piyush:ok
Kashish:how is ur khadoos friend...
Piyush:oh sujal?..he is doing great...but why do u call him with all
kinds of names...he is a very nice guy...he is my best friend...
Kashish:hm...he sounds like ur boss more than ur friend...the way u r
scared of him and oblige him....
piyush:That's okay...i know he wants the best for me...
Kashish:who is he to want things for u...cant u decide on ur own...i
hate such people who try to force their opinions on others...
piyush:ohoh kashish,now a days whenever we meet...we talk more abt
sujal than ourselves...u always talk like u have some dushmany with
him...if this is the case when u did not even see him...i'm scared to
imagine what will happen when u meet him...
and in mind he is thinking:

Kashish:Anyways what do i have to do with ur friend...i care a damn

A person just enters the restaurant...he is on phone and just when he
was abt to finish the conversation he sees piyush there and with a
wide smile on his face goes there to say hi to piyush...
"hi,piyush...what r u doing here?u said u have something important to
do and did not even come with me for the meeting"
Piyush:errrr..oh..hi sujal...nice to see u here...yeah..that;s
rigt..there was some important work...just finished and came here to
relax...meet my friend Kashish...
Kashish almost jumped out of her seat(i mean not literally but heart
in heart)..."hm..so this is the guy sujal...who is after my friend
piyush...now i understand...no doubt this guy has something in
him...he is a very dashing personality...but i hate his challenging
smile...anyways..who cares..."
Sujal: Hi Ms.Kashish...nice to meet u...(he recognised her
immediately)
Kashish:hi...
Sujal turning towards piyush:So this is ur important work...hm not
bad piyush...ok guys carry on...i dont want to disturb u.....bye..
Piyush:So this is my khadoos friend...how did u like him?
Kashish:not anymore than before meeting him...he is just upto his
image of khadoos...
Piyush:phir se shuroo...arre chodo yaar...
Kahsish:okay okay...oh piyush i have to rush...its already
late...mami will kill me...
piyush:chalo i will drop u...
sujal, from a different corner of the restaurant is observing them
and saying to himself:i have to ask piyush abt what is happening it
doesnt look like mere friendship here....

Sujal:So piyush i hope u had a great time...
Piyush:oh yaa
Sujal:so since when did u start loving her...
Piyush:not so long...may be a month...but oye..who said i love her...
Sujal:oh so u dont?then fine...i thot i shld talk to mama abt her and
all that...anyways that's fine...
Piyush:no no...err.yeah..i think so...i mean i like her ...i never
told her...but i know she likes me...
Sujal:then u shld tell her man...but before that...do u know abt
her...is she a worthy person...i mean what abt her family back ground
etc...u said u ;ve known her only for a couple of months...so how
much do u know abt her...may be all she is after is ur wealth...who
knows?dont be so gullible piyush...i have lost the count of the girls
who r behind u for ur wealth...and this one doesnt seem any
different...
Piyush:no sujal...kashish is not like that...she is a very simple and
a sweet girl...she doesnt care abt my wealth....i know her...
Sujal:acha...u seem to be knowing her too well...okay lets do
this...let me also meet her and see how she is...let us meet her
tomrow itself...are u going to meet her tomorw?
Piyush:wow that;s a great idea....yeah i'm meeting her towmrw and u

Piyush:please kashish...sujal is after all not that bad...he is a

start liking him more than me...so dont have any pre conceived
notions abt my friend...ok so its decided that u r meeting him

wants me to meet his friend...and somehow for some reason i'm not
comfortable around that guy...i dont know what that is...i dont even

sujal is already there...he is so dashing and charming that anybody
wld fall for him...as soon as he came there he told piyush that his
dad is waiting for him at the office and there r some urgent
signatures needed...piyush hesitates to leave kashish alone but sujal
says dont worry i will take care of her...
Sujal:Ms. kashish i hope u r not scared of me...cos piyush really
needs to leave...(with a very challenging smile)
Kashish: of course not...why shld i be...(though scared inside doesnt
want to show it)
Piyush leaves saying sorry to kashish and she just gives him a
reassuring smile...but before leaving he just pushes a folded paper
into her hands...sujal did not notice that of course...
Sujal:so Ms.Kashish...u like icecream...(looking at the bowl of
icecream that she has already ordered and eating)
Kashish did not like the way he was looking at her and questioned her
so she doesnt respond...
Sujal:Anyways u know that i wanted to meet u right?
kashish just nods her head very carelessly...
Sujal a bit annoyed but at the same time enjoying the responses...
Sujal:what did u see in my friend...i mean why do u like him?
Kashish a bit surprised and really irritated:i like him as a
person...atleast he doesnt boss over others...he has a very clean
heart and also a very freindly person....but why r u asking me all
these questions...
Sujal:no..actually i want to warn u that piyush is not ur type...he
may fall into ur trap but i'm right there to guard him...so its not
going to be easy for u....
Kashish just shocked at this sudden outburst as she least expected
it...."what"
WHAT DO U MEAN?"
Sujal:i mean what i said?u also know that all u r after is his
wealth...and i'm just telling u in plain words that it is not going
to be possible....
Kashish determined to teach him a lesson: how do u know what i
want...in any case who r u to say what piyush needs to do...he can
decide for himself...he is not a kid for heavens sake..and for that
matter what r u after?everybody knows that u r living on piyush's
grace...u dont have a single penny of ur own and instead of being
thankful and greatful to piyush u started bossing over him only..dont
think that i'm like piyush who is so innocent and naive...i know very
welll what u r upto...and dont tell me what i need to do...i hope u

Sujal,not being able to take the tounge lashing that she just gave
him just want to hurt her ego very badly...he just forgot himself and
cld not control himself...
"well well well...look who is speaking here...i know very well abt ur
kind of girls...u just mastered that art of trapping the rich
guys...i know love is the last thing on ur minds and all u want is
money...so tell me how much u charge for one night...tell me how much
u charged piyush all these days...i'm ready to pay u whatever u want

Even before he compledted his sentence kashish raised her hands to
slap him...but he held her hands half way thru and just gave her a
very sharp gaze...and left that place...
Kashish is in tears now and did not know what she has done to deserve
such an insult...she is totally broken and want to cry loudly...but
knowning that she is in a restaurant she cld not do that and also
suddenly she realized that the bill is not yet paid and she doesnt
have any money to do that...she just doesnt know what to do and felt
very very helpless...she just hates sujal now...with all her
heart....if there is any other better and bitter word than hate that
is the feeling she has for him now...
She suddenly saw her neighbour Ravi there....and immediately went to
him and requested him for some money...she told him that she forgot
her purse at home...so Ravi gave her the money and she is out of the
trouble...
Actually this Ravi likes kashish...but never able to tell her abt
that...he stays with his old grand mother and works somewhere as some
clerk...he is financially at a better stage than Kashish...and as far
as kashish is concerned he is just a neighbour to her....

Kashish is just not able to sleep...she is trying to get some sleep
but 2 things r making her restless....the insult from sujal and
second thing is the letter by piyush....yes, piyush is finally able
to express his feelings to her thru that letter...
She never had such feelings for piyush...she only saw a good friend
in him and now is not able to picturise him as her husband...because
she has a diiferent picture of who she wants to marry and piyush
DOESNT FIT AN INCH INTO THAT FRAME...but again she remembered how
sujal insulted her....thinking of sujal, just to get back at him, she
thot she shld marry piyush and show sujal his right place....
But again her mind did not accept that...she thot just for some
mindless stupid guy i shld not spoil all my life...i will not be able
to live with piyush....
So finally after considering everything she wrote a letter to
piyush...
Hi Piyush,
I got your letter and understood ur feelings for me and i respect
that....but i'm afraid that i will not be able to reciprocate the
same...The girl who u shld be marrying shld be a very soft and nice
girl...not like me...i'm a very arrogant and aggressive girl and we r
not a good match to each other...the moment we get married troubles
will start between and we will not even have the basic frienship
between us...i value ur frienship so much that i just dont want to
lose it at no cost...u r the only friend that i have in this whole
world and please dont take that away from me...
Please dont misunderstand me...but i have a small dream of my own...i
have a picture of what kind of a person i want to marry...and my
views about marraige are just not about seeing into eachothers eyes
and forgetting the world...it is something beyond that...first of all
i dont want to marry rich person ..i want to marry a person who is
self dependent...my home is going to be a sweet home even though

Recap:Sujal insults Kashish saying that she is like one of those girls who is out there to trap rich guys.Now kashish hates him like anything...But she is sensible enough to not to allow that hatred towards sujal change into love towards piyush....She writes a letter to piyush saying that her dream of marriage is different and piyush is a very good friend of hers and cannot afford to lose his friendship in the name of love....
Kashish keeps the letter in the hand bag determined to give that to piyush the next time they meet...She decides that her self esteem is way stronger than what people like sujal can afford to break...and decides to answer sujal appropriately when the time comes...then she becomes a little ok and cld sleep...

Sujal went home after that tussle with kashish...Actually he is not at all happy with himself.....he felt so sorry for kashish after he left here there at that restaurant in such a sorry state...he keeps cursing his own anger which makes him a total irreasonable person...again and again that hurt kashish's face kept coming into his khayal and made him restless...he cant believe the way he behaved with her,the things that he said to her....he felt like going to her right away and talking to her and make sure that she is alright....he just stopped himself from doing that with a great difficulty but decided that the next day he is going to somehow meet her and talk to her and clear the misunderstandings...basically something like saying sorry(he never said sorry to anybody so far and that's bothering him even more...cos he JUST DOESNT KNOW HOW TO DO THAT)...

Kashish is coming home after a long day at the school...she had to stop at the medical shop on the way and pick up a couple of medicines for her mom....From behind comes sujal too, who is there to pick up the medicines for one of his friends dad....Kashish sees him but pretends like she is seeing him for the first time....Sujal tries to smile at her but she just leaves without even acknowledging his presence....sujal just wants to grab the chance and talk to her so he goes behind her....but kashish just ignores him...he just comes next to her and since he doesnt know what to say, he says"going home?"
kashish is trying to keep her cool....the moment she saw him, she just wants to give him a tight slap....she just wants pay him back somehow....
sujal:if u want i can drop u at ur home?
kashish:i'm not going home...i'm going to meet piyush(she just decided)
sujal:oh...
kashish:why u thot u will be able to tell me what to do is it?u thot i will give into ur stupid and worthless warnings is it?u know what, i care a damn for people like u...i decide for myself and i do what i want to do...if i want to love piyush i will...if i want to marry him i will and u know something....u r nothing in front of me....piyush listens to me and i can make him do whatever i want...and i know that if he listens to me his life will be much better off than if he listens to u...cos u r such a selfish,idiot person that i have ever seen in my life....the girl that marries u shld be given an award as no girl in her right mind wld want to marry such a person like u....i dont even hate u cos i dont even consider u as a human being....just get lost and never ever try to talk to me....
saying this she started walking fast ahead of him....
sujal just forgot abt all his previous nights resolutions....he grabs her arm and stops her....

He just leaves her hand and goes and starts his car leaving her behind burning with hatred...

Kashish is just lost in her thoughts when piyush just comes and stands next to her...he says "hello kashish...are u okay?"
Kashish :oh piyush...my God why were u screaming like that....
piyush:screaming?maam i was standing right next to for the past 5 mnts and u did not even notice...where were u lost?
kashish decides that she is not going to tell any of sujal's episode to piyush and trouble him further...
"nothing,piyush...just thinking abt mom...she is not keeping too well these days"
piyush:oh...are u using the medicines properly?dont hesitate to ask me if u need anything....i'm always there for u...
kashish:yeah i know...
piyush:kashish chalo lets go to my home....today u have to come...
kashish remembers sujal and thinks she shld go to piyush's home just to make sujal think that his dhamkis did not work on her....
"chalo...lets go then...but i cant stay for long...after half an hour u have to drop me back"

At piyush's home...sujal is has not yet come home...and piyush's parents went on tour to Europe in some business thing just that morning only....
piyush:kashish let me show u mine and sujal's room...

piyush:this is my bed and that is sujal's bed...
kashish looking at sujal's pillow covers:how come they look so old...
piyush:oh they r embroidered by sujal's mom and he just doesnt part with them....

some ramu kaka or somebody comes and gives them coffee and goes...
kashish, when piyush is not looking purposefully spills some coffee on the covers...
They just talked for sometime and kashish got up saying she will have to leave now...
piyush:kashish i have to tell u something...can u come to the temple tomorw?
kashish thinking that she can give the letter to him there says yes...but just then sujal also enters and he hears that they r going to meet at the temple...but doesnt know why....he raises his eyebrows and says to himself now he will only have to do something.....
He and kashish come face to face they stare at eachother for a while and she just gives a very challenging and careless smile and leaves....

Next morning when piyush was getting ready, sujal gets a cup of coffee for him....Actually he added something in it which can make piyush feel sleepy...as soon as piyush drinks that he feels sleepy and sujal makes him sleep comfortably....
sujal to himself: i'm very sorry piyush....i know u r a very clean hearted person...but the people around u take advantage of ur niceness and i cant allow that to happen....i just love u too much to allow u to be taken in for a ride....please forgive me my dear friend...but when u understand why i;ve done all this u will defnlty forgive me....
sujal:Kashish..i know how to take care of girls like u....u've entered into a lion's den and uski sazaa thumko milke rahegi....i wont allow u to spoil my dearest friend's life....

sujal goes to the temple where kashish and piyush were planning to meet...he has a few more people with him and also a van...kashish comes there and gets surprised to see sujal there....
sujal:hi...piyush sent me here...he is not feeling well ...he told me u will be waiting for him here...so i came on behalf of him to let u know abt his health...if u want i can take u to see him...
Kashish:No Thanks...i will meet him someother time...
Sujal:no anyways i'm also going there only...u can come with me....
and saying this he comes close to her and puts a hanky on her nose...some chloroform and stuff like that....she fights very hard not to give in but finally she goes unconsious....and sujal just pulls his sleeves up and gets into his mission of saving piyuuuuuuushh......
he immediately carries her into the van and along with the other 2 ladies who were already there starts driving to a far off place...he is sitting in the back seat of the van and kashish is sleeping like a baby on his shoulders...for a second he feels that whatever he is doing is not right...he just cant help being taken aback by her beautiful and innocent face....he says its difficult to believe that behind such a beautiful face there can be such horrible thots....again he reconsiders if what he was going to do is the right thing to do....his principles say that its not right....but his love and friendship towards piyush is saying that its okay to do whatever he wants to do.....finally he decides to do whatever it takes to save piyush...
The van stops in front of an old temple...already there is a lawyer and a priest...the two women that came along took kashish inside a room in the temple and decked her like a bride...sujal also decked himself up like a bride groom...he took this lawyer who is very loyal to him into his confidence...the lawyer friend asked sujal to think once again if MARRYING KASHSISH IS THE ONLY SOLUTION FOR THIS....sujal says he ran out of all the other options and this is the only thing...then the lawyer says along with that girl even ur life will be spoilt...are u prepared for that....
sujal:that's ok lawyer...after doing such a thing i dont expect any good thing to happen anyways...but i just have to marry her so that i can prove to the world and piyush that she is already a married person...
so they get on with the customs of the marriage and SUJAL MARRIES KAHSISH...kashish is in half awakened state...she is not able to resist whatever is being done but knows that something wrong is happening....
After the marriage sujal along with kashish gets a few pictures taken...he also takes her to the marriage registrar and register their marriage there....(how he does all this without anybody questioning him...dont ask me...cos i've no idea...u guys are watching KTH everyday without asking a single question,so here also u better have not any questions)
then all the others leave, leaving sujal and kashish behind....kashish is still not woken up totally....he is waiting for her to gain consciousness so that he can tell her abt the whole thing...he is looking at her baby like face and suddenly gets some strange and inexplainable feeling...he just touches goes her kisses her forehead...he doesnt understand himself...what is happening to him and all...he is praying for her to come into consciousness ASAP so that he can be saved from this bout of emotions....
Slowly kashish gains consciousness...as soon as she woke up she sees sujal in bridegrooms attire...feels suspicious and tries to get up immediately...that's when she sees the mangalsutr around her neck...and not being able to believe all that she just gets up and there in front of her is a big mirror in which she can see herself clad in a bride's attire and her maang is having sindhur....'she just gets the shock of her life' is not the right expression to explain what is happening to her....she just collapses and gazes into vaccum....sujal all the while is observing her and doesnt know what to say....for a second he felt guilty...but he remembered how evil her thots were...he just gave a very sarcastic smile at her and started speaking to her...
sujal:see kashish man proposes and God disposes...u were all set to marry a wealthy man but all u got is this penny less sujal...i mean that;s what u said right that i'm penny less and good for nothing and all that....but i did not marry u for any revenge...i married u just to save my friend from ur dangerous claws....i have no enemity against u....that we got married today is true and i ahve evidences for that....as long as u dont come close to piyush i've no problem with u...but once if u try to play ur evil game again, i will be forced to come out with all those pictures that u are already married...so it will be good for u, if u just keep quite and keep urself away from us...just marry a nice boy and forget abt all this...i will also forget everything if u r willing to...and any help u need, u can ask me without any hesitation...like i told u, i dont have any hatred towards u...
Kashish is too shocked to say anything....see just cant even think in her wildest nightmares that something like this can happend...all her dreams abt the marriage and stuff are shattered,but that is not what is bothering her.....she is not able to understand where she went wrong...why sujal stooped to such a low level....she is just emotion less right now...and doesnt even know what to do....she just asks him to drop her close by to her house cos she is too weak to go by herself...that's all...
Sujal drops her at her home and he comes back to his home....but he notices that kashish left her hand bag inside the car...he just takes it with him and keeps it...thinking that he will give that to her whenever he sees her again....
He just sits in his easy chair thinking abt what he did...he cant believe that he did that....he thinks for a second that kashish is his wife now and a sweet smile comes on to his lips...but he knows that its just a thot and neither he not kashish like this rishta....he knows that they both hate eachother and probably never going to come face to face ever again in life....he decides to himself, that whatever has happened its his responsibility and he is not going to marry ever again in life and also not going to see kashish again in life....he is not going to interfere in her life as long as she keeps herself away from piyush....

is full of people...nobody to share her grief....

Kashish woke up in the morning hearing mami screaming at the top of
her voice on some neighbour...as soon as she got up she saw the
mangalsutr and knew that whatever happened was a not a nightmare but
a very bitter reality....she just put that inside and went into
kitchen to help her mami...she took a cup of coffee to her mom and
found out that her mom has high fever...so she decided to take her to
a doctor in the evening...she got ready and went for work...but at
the school the principal told her that (i already mentioned that this
is a temporary job)the person on vacation has come back and from
tomorw she doesnt have to come to school...now one more big
problem...there is no job...which means no money to take care of
things....

Piyush is waiting for kashish outside her school...he was wondering
if sujal told kashish the previous day why he was not able to meet
kashish...and also he was anxious to know kashish's response to his
letter....
Here comes kashish and sees piyush...
"hi,piyush"
Piyush:kashish...hi..how r u?oh my God...i just did not see u for one
day and feels like i'm seeing u after a life time...did sujal tell u
y'day why i was not able to make it to the temple?oh God y'day
suddenly i felt so weak that i cld not even walk,forget abt coming
anywhere...sorry kashish...i know u hate to talk to sujal,but cld not
help it...
kashish:just gives a lifeless smile....
piyush:noticing that she is not normal...what happened kashish?r u
upset abt something?are u angry that i did not come to the temple
y'day?did sujal come there at all?did he tell u abt me?
kashish just nods her head indicating that she knows abt his illness
and stuff...
piyush:oh God kashish what happened to u?in one day u changed so

keeping too well and i need a job urgently to take care of her...

mom..she is not keeping well and u did not even tell me...lets take
her to a doctor and dont worry abt money and all that...
kashish:i know that u have no problem giving me the money and all
that,but i defntly have a problem...i cant take anything for
free...sorry abt that piyush,but i cant go against my principles...
piyush:and that's why i like u so much...u r not like other girls...i
respect ur principles kashish and tell me what kind of a job u want...

piyush is very hurt with kashish's behaviour and just knows that
sujal said something to her which hurt her so much...he decides to go
and ask sujal only abt that....

sujal is sitting in the lawn and looking into the case that he will
have to fight the next day in the court....
piyush just storms towards him and throws that file on the table...
sujal is shocked with his action and just looks at him with a
question mark face...
piyush:u said that u informed kashish abt why i did not come to the
temple...but i did not know that u hate her so much that u hurt her
like that....
sujal is really shocked now...he doesnt know what to say...he thot
kashish told him everything....
sujal:u met her today?
piyush:yes,and dont think that if u did not tell me i will not know
abt what u 've done...i just dont understand u at all....how can u
hurt kashish like that...how can u talk to her like that...
sujal:like what?
piyush:now sujal dont try to be innocent okay...just tell me what u
told her y'day....atleast u tell me abt it...otherwise i will go
mad imagining abt what wld have happened y'day...kashish chose to
keep quite and atleast u speak up...
sujal with a sigh of relief:nothing piyush i just told her what u
wanted me to tell her...that;s all...and now please leave me alone as
i've a very important case to fight tomorw and i need to prepare...
piyush left...
sujal just leaned back on his chair and went into thinking abt
kashish...today it is umpteenth time he is thinking abt her...now she
surprised him by not telling whatever has happened between them to
piyush....for a second he felt that may be kashish is not that kind
of a girl....he decided not to think abt her anymore, and to forget
abt her, he decided to do more work now...that;s why he started
accepting more cases than before...
piyush is totally helpless now...if only he knows what sujal has done
that day...may be the story wld ;ve been different.....atleast his
story wld have been different for sure....anyways man proposes and
God disposes...right?

piyush:kashish today i will take u to my very good uncle UMESH
MALHOTRA...i think u wld 've heard his name...he is a big business
tykoon and all that...now he needs a personal assistant who not only
helps him in the business but also helps him at the home front...he
has 2 daughters...one almost of ur age...shruti malhotra..and the
second one is just 10year old and handicapped...her name is
pinky...aunt died a few years ago and uncle decided not to marry
again...(this is the 4th family that i was talking abt the MALHOTRAS)
kashish:what is expected of me?
piyush:uncle will only tell...first we need to meet him...i told him
abt u and he wanted to meet u...so lets go to his home...
kashish:home?
piyush:yeah...let's go...and one more thing kashish....tomorw i'm
leaving for europe....i've applied for management course in the
university of london(dont ask me if its there..)i got the seat and
i've decided to join...now u will be saved from me for the next one
and a half years....but after that i'm going to come and not leave u
forever....

Its a big mansion....The lawn is beautifully maintained and the
landscape is just mind blowing...the plants are groomed properly and
there is wealth written all over....but still there is some
gloominess there...some incompleteness...kashish entered the mansion
along with piyush...as soon as they entered they saw this middle aged
man sitting on the sofa reading some book...
piyush:uncle we r here...
he lifted his head from the book and looked at both of them...looking
at kashish he atonce got a strange feeling, a knot in his stomach...
Piyush:uncle this is kashish...remember i was telling u abt her
y'day...kashish..this is my very dear uncle...uncle where r shruti
and pinky...saying this he goes from there...
kashish:namashkar umeshji...
umesh:namashkar beti...please have a seat...so when do u want to
join...
kashish:surprised...u mean i'm appointed?no interview?
umesh:no for the job that i've i need somebody who i can trust...and
as soon as i saw u i can feel that u r the one for this job...so
interview khatam...
kashish:thankyou sir...but what is my job...i mean my responsibilites
here...
umesh:i think piyush told u that i have 2 daughters....u r going to
be taking care of them...u r going to assist me with my business
also..personal secretary...so when do u want to start...(salary and
everything are already discussed and i felt those r all minor details)
kashish:from tomorw sir...
umesh:alright...
meanwhile a beautiful girl comes downstairs from her room...umesh
called her to meet kashish...kashish this is my first daughter
shruti...and shruti this is kashish...she is going tobe taking care
of things here...
shruti:hi kashish welcome home...
kashish:hi maam...
shruti:oh no...please dont call me maam...i will feel like i'm a very
old
woman...we both seem to be of almost the same age so lets call
eachother with our names...okay..
kashish...smiles:okay...
then a small sweet girl comes there carried by piyush...
piyush:and here is the princess of this home ms.pinky malhotra...
pinky:hi...
kashish:hi pinky nice to meet u....
pinky:so u r going to play with me?
kashish:of course yes....turning towards umesh...so sir i will be
coming here from tomorw...and.......
umesh understood and asks her to wait for a minute...
he comes out with some money and gives it to her saying that this is
her advance salary...
kashish:thanks sir...
piyush:ok uncle...thank you so much...bye uncle i will see u in the
evening...i'm going to europe tomorw for my masters and i want to
take blessings from u...so see u later uncle...bye....

Recap: Kashish takes piyush's help in getting a job...she gets a job
as an assisitant to Mr.Umesh Malhotra...sujal decides to get busy and
concentrate more on work...piyush decides to go to europe and stay

Even after kashish left, umesh felt her presence there...he felt a
strange affinity towards her and she reminded him of somebody....he
just kept on thinking abt her...and finally told himself: "anyways she
is going to come here everyday and slowly i can find out if what i'm

Piyush is packing his bags....sujal comes there and asks him ,how come
he has finally decided to take up this management course when he is
not interested in business in the first place...he asks him if there
is any other reason which made him do this....
piyush just looks at sujal angrily and says:sujal why r u worried abt
all the details...all these days u were behind me to take up this
course and today when i want to do it why r u not happy?
Sujal:piyush i never wanted u to do anything that u dont enjoy...but i
know u r a very sensitive and emotional person and decide things
depending upon ur emotions...that's why i wanted to help u to make the
right choice...that;s all....i know if u get into this course slowly u
will forget everything and start enjoying...but if u dont want to do
it,u dont have to go....i will tell uncle and aunt abt it...
piyush:i 've already decided to go and that's it....
sujal:did u have a fight with somebody...or is there anything
bothering u...
piyush:sujal, if u r indidcating towards kashish...no...we can never
fight...we understand eachother so much that there is no place for
fight between us....u know my feelings towards her right? tell me how
can fight with her...
sujal:(hesistantly)but what abt her?does she also have the same
feelings for u?
piyush:well she did not tell me in so many words...but i know that she
loves me...
he doesnt want to tell abt the conversation that they had that she
doesnt want to meet him for one year and all that stuff...he thot
sujal will again spoil things for him....
sujal:with a very carcastic smile...ohhh...
he felt like somebody just squeezed his neck when he heard that
kashish also likes piyush....
sujal:ok piyush then let me know if u need any help...tell me when ur
flight is and i will come drop u...chalo see u...
piyush:why is sujal behaving in a strange way?he has distanced himself
from me so much...i know him too well to find out that something is
bothering him...
sujal comes away from there and he is not at all feeling good and he
doesnt understand why he felt so terrible when piyush said that
kashish also likes him....he doesnt know why he is thinking abt
kashish at all...he wants to see her just once...he wants to find out
how she is doing after that day...he want to find out if if if...IF
SHE IS DOING FINE...he is praying for one chance to meet her...but
doesnt know how...he cant even ask piyush abt kashish..how she is and
all that....sujal is in a very confused state...he doesnt know if he
hates her or if he has any soft corner for her....

kashish is getting ready to go to work...her maami comes and
says:Kashish can u come a little early in the evening?
kashish:why maami?
Maami:nothing...actually u r very lucky...Ravi wants to marry u....i
wanted to give u a surprise but now i thot u shld know abt it...a
couple of weeks back ravi's grandmother came and got this proposal for
u...i told ur maamaji and he wanted to find out if its okay for u...so
today evening they r coming to our home and u both can talk to
eachother and decide what u want to do...okay?
Kashish is stunned....doesnt know what to say....she never expected
this thing...she never really even noticed ravi...and now she knows
that after all those things that she had to go thru, this is one more
test of time...she just felt helpless as she cant even tell abt what
happened to her to her own family...she knows that her mom will get a
shock of her life and her heart will stop beating right away...that's
why she just cant tell it to anybody....
so she says:maami please...i cant come early...today is my first day
there and how can i come off early....
maami:i dont know baba...ur maamaji wanted me to tell u this and i
told u...i know that u never listened to me nor to anybody else...i
dont know which life's punishment we r getting here....
(and she goes on and on with her tauntings)...
kashish:ok,ok maami...i will try and come early...now please stop all
that and let me go...

sujal just dropped off piyush at the airport and came back home...he
is very restless and felt very lonely...doesnt know what to do....he
goes into his room and sits there in front of his table...he suddenly
sees kashish's bag there(the one which she forgot in his car)....he
has totally forgotten abt it...involantarily he opens the bag...there
is nothing in that bad except some change and a folded paper...he
takes out that paper unfolds it and without his knowledge starts
reading it...(this is the letter which kashish wrote to piyush but
never got a chance to give)
He is shocked to read the contents of the letter...he started hating
himself for what he has done to kashish without knowing the
truth...but he also cant believe the dream that kashish has abt her
marriage...because because its his VERY OWN DREAM....he doesnt
understand how two different people can have same dream.....after
reading that letter he wants to meet kashish very badly and ask her if
that was true.....he first wants to meet her and talk to her...

Kashish enters the mansion...she cant believe that she is working
there....she decides to put all her personal things aside and focus pn
her work so that the people ther will not have any complaints on
her....she is actually a kind of person who likes to give total
commitment to whatever she does...
Umesh is sitting right in the hall and he makes her feel welcome
there...even shruti comes down and greets her...pinky is getting ready
with the help of the aaya....and umesh is looking into some files and
he tells her what to do...he says for one hour we will see these files
and then we will take pinky and go out for some shopping...and then
come home have lunch and then she will have to do some office work etc
etd...
shruti comes and tell her:see kashish daddy will not tell u abt his
health but let me tell u...he has high bp and also heart trouble...he
is not supposed to eat certain things and not supposed to get hyper
abt things...he doesnt listen to me anyways...atleast u try and tell
him...
umesh:shruti if u listen to me properly that's more than enough....why
did u not go to college y'day...where did u go?
shruti feels insulted in front of kashish and just goes from there...
umesh:kashish see i told u right i need some help in taking care of my
daughters...i dont know how u will do it...
kashish felt very embarassed between the father and daughter...
umesh and shruti doesnt get along that well and its a open secret to
everybody that know them....
kashish tells umesh:sir one request sir...can i go a little early
today evening...i know its too much to ask on the first day of the
worl,but i really need to go sir...
umesh:very laughingly says,that's ok...u can go...when a girl is
wanted at home early in the evening by her parents, which means very
soon she is going to get married...is that right?
kashish doesnt respond and starts looking into the files...umesh
thinks that she is sharmaofying...

pinky gets ready and feels very happy to see kashish there...she
instantly liked kashish and wants to be with her all the
time...kashish finished the work assigned by umesh and both of them
are waiting for umesh to come down so they all can go for shopping...
So all of them go for shopping....kashish is feeling very awkward
because she never came to those big shops and also with poeple she
hardly knows...
umesh is looking for some frocks for pinky and kashish helped him in
the selection...pinky loved kashish's selection...then they headed
towards the salwar kameez section...umesh got a couple of them for
shruti and asked kashish also to take a couple of them...but kashish
refused to take and in the meanwhile somebody called umesh from
behind:"uncle"
umesh:just turned around and gave a wide smile to the person...oh
sujal....what r u doing in a ladies showroom....
with the way he is looking at sujal we can understand how much umesh
loves and admires sujal....
sujal:no uncle...i was just passing by and saw ur driver standing
outside so thot of saying hello to u....
pinky also comes there and she just jumps with joy seeing
sujal...sujal takes her into his hands and kisses her forehead..
pinky:no sujal bhayya i'm not talking to u.....why did u not come to
my home for the past 1 week....i'm very angry with u...
sujal:sorry pinky infact u wont believe if i said that i was actually
going to come today....see i even bot a 5-star for u...(takes out one
from his pocket)ok now u can take it here only...
pinky:no bhayya i will take it at my home only....
umesh:yes sujal we r anyways going to home only why dont u join us for
lunch...its been a while that u came to our home...
sujal:ok uncle...lets go...
umesh remebers abt kashish...
she is actually turning towards the other side and hearing all their
conversation but doesnt want to turn this side...she knows that one
day she will have to face sujal but did not know that it will be so
early....she is telling herself that she is not the one who shld hide
whereas its sujal who shld hide from her cos of the cruel thing that
he has done...she hates him so much that she doesnt even want to look
at his face....
umesh:kashish...
sujal is stunned to hear that name which is all the time in his mind
for a few days now....
kashish:turning this side...yes sir...
umesh:oh kashish u have to meet sujal...he is my most favorite person
in this whole world...
sujal is embarrassed...
kashish:hi...(as if she is seeing him for the first time)
sujal:hi....(totally shocked to see her there)
Umesh:sujal she is kashish...a very nice girl and my assistant...just
started working from today...okay kashish shall we make a move?
they all reach home...
Kashish :sir i will be waiting for u in the office room...meanwhile u
can have ur lunch...i need to look into some files...
sujal is just observing her all the while...
umesh:no nono nothing doing...u also shld join us for lunch...
kashish:very reluctantly nods her head...
sujal is only looking at her all the time and feeling more and more
close to her....but kashish is hating each and every moment that she
has to be around him....
While having lunch...
umesh:so how r things sujal...how is work coming along?i heard u 've
become even more workaholic....why man?u need to enjoy life...this is
the age u know...
sujal just smiles...
umesh:ok sujal when r u going to get married?is vasu going to look for
a girl or u have somebody in ur mind?
sujal is very embarassed at this question and just looks at kashish
trying to look for her reaction...
she is eating very calmly and doesnt seem to be affected at all by
that question...he is a little bit disappointed...
umesh:continuing...sujal this is the age for u...dont tell me u will
stay un married...or shall i start looking for u?one shld get married
at the right age...u know...what do u say kashish?
kashish:totally caught unawares...doesnt know what to say...she just
gives a vague smile...
umesh:in his own flow...i know kashish why u r sharmofying....u must
be thinking abt ur bridegroom that u r going to meet today
evening....if u dont mind...what is his name?do u know him from
before?when is the marriage?
kashish:no feelings on her face...but felt a little awkward to talk
abt these things in from of strangers...so kept quite with a smile...
sujal:cld not believe what he just heard...what kashish is getting
married?...
he immediately looks at her....she also gives a very serious look at
him...he can see so much of hatred in her eyes....
he felt so helpless...he wants to shout to the whole world that
actually kashish is his wife and she cant get married again...but he
knows too well that its not possible...kashish will never give him a
chance...but still somewhere a ray of hope is till hanging...
sujal is not able to eat properly and umesh notices that he is
tensed abt something...so he asks him what happened...sujal says
nothing,he just remembered some important work to be done..that's
alll...so he excuses himself....while going he just looks at
kashish,but kashish doesnt even acknowledge his presence there....
umesh remembers that kashish wants to go home early and requests sujal
if he can drop off kashish at her home...
sujal agrees but kashish refuses to go with him...

I cant tell u how much i'm enjoying writing this serial...hey dont
think that this is all my own...i've put together all my cinema,novel
knowledge together and since i love these suttle romantic stories, u
will find a lot of those moments in my story....But whatever it is
i'm glad that u guys r liking it and i want to hear more and more
from u so that it will act as a fuel to my stories...u know what i
mean?and also one more foreword...since i'm not a seasoned writer i'm
not able to express certain things even to my liking...so u 've to
bear with me for that...i know dialogues are very imp for such
stories and i'm trying my level best to put all my knowledge into

Recap:Sujal sees kashish with umesh and family and gets surprised and
then he learns that she is working for them..Kashish doesnt like to
see sujal there...umesh asks sujal to drop off kashish at home....

Kashish refuses to go with sujal...umesh is surprised with her
reaction and asks her if there is any problem...
kashish:no sir...nothing...actually i want to spend some more time
with pinky....she has been asking me since morning to play with
her...i also want to get to know her in a better way...and also i
dont need to go so early...its only 3pm now...i can stay here for
another couple of hours...
umesh:admiring her commitment towards her work...that's great
than...as u wish...okay sujal i think u can carry on...but please
keep coming...see i've become old and u know how much i'm dependent
upon u.....
sujal is disappointed, at the same time angry with kashish that she
has refused to come with him...he knows that she is only making
excuses not to go with him...he just felt like grabbing her by her
arm and make her sit in his car..."yes uncle...i will make it a point
to come here more often"...he just glances at kashish again and
leaves...
kashish just heaves a sigh of relief...and gets into work...but one
part of her mind is occupied with sujal...his intense glances are
haunting her and somehow for the first time she did not see that
usual hatred in his eyes....whatever it is she just wants to wipe off
his thoughts and forget abt him...

kashish reached home in the evening thinking of how to face the
situation...how to say no to Ravi...
Ravi and his grandmother came and they all wanted kashish and ravi to
go out...so they go out to talk to eachother...then kashish tells
ravi that she is not ready to get married now and she is really
sorry...ravi also says that he really appreciates her straight
forwardness and asks her to forget that this ever happened...he says
that we can still be friends and u can ask me whenever u need any
help...
Ravi tells his grandmother that kashish is not the kind of girl that
he wants...he wants somebody with higher education bla bla bla...
(basically making excuses in such a way that the blame doesnt come on
to kashish)so they leave...kashish feels very greatful to ravi...
that night when she was abt to sleep, chandru comes home from the
back door...she feels very happy and starts getting emotional.. the
tears that she is trying to hide from the world, all these days come
out...chandru feels really bad and helpless and his resolution to
make his sister happy strengthens even more....
chandru:kashish(he always called her by her name)....did anybody say
anything to u?why r u crying so much....
kashish:nothing...i'm seeing u after this long no...that's why...how
r u doing?
chandru:kashish listen to me carefully...i've come to just say bye to
u as i got a job in bombay and i dont even know when i will be
coming back...so take care of urself and this is the address to which
u can correspond...u shld be happy and i'm ready to do anything for
u....
kashish:no chandru u r not going anywhere....is that clear?u want my
happiness right?my happiness is in knowing that u r fine and not
going in any dangerous path...
chandru:i'm always happy kashish...dont worry abt me...
kashish:can u promise me that u r not treading in any dangerous path?
promise me chandru...
chandru:gets emotional and goes away saying bye to his sister...
kashish just breaks down...she doesnt know what to tell to her
mom...she has been waiting to see her son for so long....

It is almost a month that kashish started working at malhotras...she
has now become a part of their family....its like they have known her
all their lives....to kashish's relief sujal never came to that side
in that one month...he met umesh outside only whenever they had
something to talk abt(sujal takes care of all the legal procceedings
of the malhotra company)...in this one month kashish understood one
thing....sujal is loved by all the people there...if umesh starts
talking abt sujal,there is no stopping....
Shruti also became very friendly with kashish...kashish realized that
shruti is very moody and howmuch ever she talks like a friend, she
never wld like kashish to forget that she is an employee
there....there is a thin line ther and kashish is sensible enough not
to cross that ever....
But pinky is a sweetheart....she loves kashish like anything and now
she just cant stay without seeing kashish everyday....since she cant
walk properly, kashish strolls her in the garden everyday for one hr
telling all nice nice stories...kashish really has a way with the
kids....
umesh also loves kashish just like his other 2 daughters...he was
never able to tell her abt that though...and this feeling is mutual
between them...but sometimes the untold feelings are better
understood than the ones that are told...this father daughter
relationship gets on to the nerves of shruti and she feels jealous
abt kashish....she thinks that his father is giving kashish that
love,which he was never able to give to his own daughters....
Sujal wanted to come there so many times just to see kashish....but
whenever he wanted to come he remembered the hatred in her eyes and
just got put off...he only knows how difficult it is for him, not to
see her....without his knowledge he started caring for her...he
started looking for her...he started feeling more possessive abt
her...and yes may be he started LOVING HER....as much as he want to
hate her....

Pinky,kashish and shruti are playing some game...raghu kaka was
holding pinky in his hands so that she can also participate in the
game...kashish is the police and she is running behind shruti and
pinky to catch them....(chor,sipahi game...i know its silly but its
needed here )kashish is so lost in running that she is not able to
see anything else...she runs and dashes into somebody who just
entered the gate....(yes u guessed it right...;-)...)
sujal holds her very carefully so that she doesnt fall and helps her
balance herself....both of them are in a very strange state of
mind...he gets shocked suddenly...kashish sees this difference and
wonders why...she looks towards where he is looking...he is looking
at the mangalsutr around her neck....she is very embarassed,but
conceals her emotions and slowly leaves from there....
sujal cant believe what he just saw...he is very happy...he never
thot that kashish wld respect that forced marriage....this gave him
some courage to talk to her and find out what is there in her
mind....now he is really looking forward to catching kashish when she
is all by herself...
Sujal comes in and by then shruti and pinky also saw him...pinky just
clings on to him and shruti is also very happy to have him there...
shruti:hi sujal...long time no see....
sujal:yeah a little busy u know...(he is talking to shruti but his
eyes are looking for kashish...)how r u shruti...how is ur
college...this is ur final year...i hope u r concentrating properly...
shruti:hoffo...please stop treating me like a kid sujal...i know what
i need to do okay...tell me what u want to have...coffee,tea,coke?
sujal:hot hot coffee...(he knows that shruti doesnt know how to make
coffee...he doesnt know if kashish knows how to make coffee but just
wanted to take a chance....)...
shruti:hm...let me see if kashish knows how to make coffee...(goes in)
Shruti goes and asks kashish if she can make a cup of
coffee...kashish cld not say no...so she makes and gives it to
shruti...
seeing shruti coming out with the cup of coffee, sujal is very
disappointed...not that he expected kashish to come running to him
with a cup of coffee...he starts drinking that coffee not like coffee
but like amrit that has directly come from heaven.....
shruti finds it real funny...she asks sujal after how many days he is
drinking a cup of coffee...he says for the first time i'm drinking...
shruti:what?really...
sujal:i mean for the first time i'm drinking such a nice coffee...
shruti:u want one more cup?
sujal:yeah sure...
shruti again goes in and requests kashish for one more cup of
coffee...kashish gets really annoyed and feels like throwing that hot
hot coffee on sujal...but resists herself...she doesnt understand
this new form of sujal...she thinks that he is trying to trouble
her...
meanwhile umesh comes there and he asks for kashish...shruti says
kashish is doing some work inside...
sujal says that he came there to invite all of them for lunch at his
home and ALL OF THEM shld come...he meant kashish also,but obviuosly
cld not take her name....umesh says that they will defntlyu come...he
goes in and tells kashish that the next day is a holiday for her as
they r not going to be around...hearing this sujal gets really
annoyed...he invited them home just to grab some moments with
kashish but this old man spoilt that also...

Next day morning sujal calls umesh and asks him if he has anybody who
can assist him in arranging for lunch as he is expecting more
people...sujal says they shld be really capable enough to handle such
things....umesh cld think of only one person and that is kashish....
he sends a car for kashish and sends her a message that she is needed
to come urgently....so kashish comes there....umesh tells her abt
sujal and requests her to go and help him....kashish is really hurt
with this whole thing...she feels that because of her neccessity is
having to go to those places where she wld never want to go....she
feels that sujal is purposefully doing all this and he is taking
advantage of her weakness...she cld not say no and leaves with the
driver to go to sujal's home....
Sujal knows that kashish is going to come...he is waiting for her in
the hall very anxiously...kashish comes there and hesitates a little
bit to enter that house...she came there before also,but so many
changes have happened in her life after that...sujal sees her and
asks her to come in...he behaves very normally...as a boss behaves
with his employee...she just doesnt know what to do so she stand
there without saying anything...he comes and gives her a list of
things that she needs to get done...there r some phone numbers that
she needs to call and make sure that certain things like catering and
stuff like that are taken care of...and also she needs to arrange for
the drinks etc and other logistics also need to be taken care
of...she just forgets abt everything else and gets into work at
once...(she just wants to finish off everything fast fast and push
off from there and also she doesnt like anything to be done half
heartedly)
While she is busy arranging for things,sujal from a corner of his eye
is observing her very happily....for a moment her felt like kashish
is the bahu of that house carrying her duty very faithfully...he just
hit himself gently and smiled...
suddenly he goes to her and asks her if she wants to have a cup of
coffee....she says no thanks,without even looking at him...he says"no
no that day u made coffee for me and i dont like to keep anybody;s
favour..so u 've to drink...(he says like its an order)"kashish is
annoyed but keeps quite....
sujal gets into the kitchen and after a while a big sound is heard
from the kitchen...kashish choses to ignore and get on with her
work,but since there is no further sound from the kitchen she is
forced to go and see what is happening....
There sujal is trying to wash his hands with water and they were
burnt...they see eachother but choose to keep quite...he
says"sorry...now u will have to make ur own coffee and give me also
some" it just in no way sounded like a request...she is totally
irritated...when she is just abt to leave from there,sujal shows her
where the milk is...now she is forced to make coffee...
she gets into the kitchen very reluctantly and starts making
coffee...he doesnt move from there and keeps watching her...she
doesnt feel comfortable at'll...she is searching for sugar and coffee
powder but doesnt want to ask him...he understood what she is
searching for and gives those things to her...saying"u have to know
so many more things here"...she looks at him with a question mark
face...but doesnt care to respond...sujal says.."kashish i want to
talk to u...i've been waiting to talk to u.."..now this is totally
unexpected from him...so she doesnt know what to say...
sujal:kashish say something...i'm asking u something here...
kashish:............
sujal:kashish...
kashish:i have nothing to talk to nobody...i'm here on my work and i
wld like to finish it off as soon as possible and get out of
here...that's all...
saying that she tries to leave from there...but sujal puts his hand
on the way and says that no matter what,she will have to listen to
him...otherwise he doesnt know what he is going to do....
kashish:yeah this is nothing new to u...forcing things on
others...and spoiling other people's lives...what else can u do to me?
u have already done the biggest damage possible...so there is nothing
else that u can do to me....
her eyes are fuming with anger and hatred...
sujal gets taken aback with her words...he takes off his hand and she
walks off like a queen from there without any fear...by then she
finished all her assigned work so she leaves from there...and sujal
doesnt know how to stop her...he keeps quite...
