Show me the money! Aamna Shariff

Want to spend time with your favourite telly stars? For a price, you actually can. Apparently, Aamna Shariff charged Rs 70,000 to meet up with a fan, an old lady called Mrs Duru, a resident of Bangalore, who pleaded with her sons to arrange a meeting with her favourite TV character Kashish of Kahiin To Hoga. Aamna actually demanded Rs 1,00,000 but finally agreed on Rs 70,000.

Pleasant surprise

The meeting was arranged on April 8 at the J W Marriott in Juhu. Duru and her two sons flew in from Bangalore. Duru was not told that she was going to Mumbai to meet Aamna.

Her husband and son wanted to make her very happy by giving her a big pleasant surprise. Also, they did not tell her that Aamna had charged to meet her.

Says our source, "Duru has not been keeping too well. She recently underwent a bypass surgery. She told her sons that her last wish was to meet Kashish in person. The sons arranged to pay Aamna despite having financial constraints.

Of course they bargained and managed to bring down the price by Rs 30,000. At the end of it all, Duru was mighty pleased and left the hotel smiling."

"Aamna kept warding off the people who were trying to arrange the meet. It took the Bangalore guys a month's time to finally get her.

It was only when they got Aamna's number from someone and explained to her their urgency, the meeting materialised," adds the source.

Denials, denials

Another source who is also aware of the meeting, says, "We did not expect Aamna to charge money to meet a fan. It came as a jolt."

When contacted, Aamna said that she had a very pleasant experience with Mrs Duru but claimed that she had not taken money to meet her.

"I got the love of a mother from Mrs Duru. Her husband and son had told her that they had come to Mumbai to attend an engagement ceremony of some close associate.

She even gave me a gold coin, which is passed on in their family to the youngsters. I regret that I couldn't be with her for a longer time. Mrs Duru is a wonderful lady.

I might be going to Bangalore shortly to meet her again. She is a huge fan of mine, who does not even miss the repeats of KTH," she said.

We tried to contact Duru's son Ramesh but he remained unavailable for comment.

1st of all thnx 4 the article n she is looking really nice as alwayz n now about the article in my opinion this media have some pbs with the BIG celebz i must say q k jab bhi koi popularity aur fame ki hieghts pe hota hai yeh log uske peechay epr jaatay hain isi media ne yehi bhi keh dia tah k R/A ka relation is over per hum sab ne dekha unko sbs aur sta pe saath saath dekha so im not gonna believe thsi rubish newz b'coz i know Aamna she is a nice human being aur agar aisa ahi bhi tou socho kitni baat hai usmein jis se milne k liye u can ready to pay a bug amount.so im happy with her at n e situation 😳

I talked with Aamna my self, she is a very nice humanbeing, and she would never do like this things....

It's a mid-day article plus it's Vivek Lalwani who had written it, what u wait from it, and him....

this is the limit!!!1 i swear kya takleef hai in midday waalon ko especially this dog vickey lalwani!!!! i swear i wana kill this guy!!! hw dare he!!!!!! utter rubbish, i dnt believe in this at all, aamna wud never do this

i mean the name of the paper and the reporter show how reliable this source will be!!!!!! 😡

aamna is not like that at all, she is a very sweet person, aamna has met soo many of her fans and i have never herd ke she will charge thme money 4 that, and i mean just see wot she sed, wen she goes 2 bangalore she will pay another visit 2 the lady!!!!!!!!

jab aamna ke ghar uski fan aai thi after she ran away from home near her bday time, did aamna stop her at the door and say plzzz pay 70,000 its the entry fee!!!! 😆 its just sooo stuip, aamna even sed 2 zee ke wen she cums 2 mumbai she wud luv 2 meet her so i mean wot!!!1 this is utter rubbish!!!

aamna we are always with u, we knw u are a gr88 humen being and wud never do that!!!! we still love and respect u and no vickey lalwani can change this!!!!!!!! 😡
