I'm busy doing it up now.My family and I have shifted into the new place though work isn't complete yet.It's a huge house.My room is very glamorous.I always wanted a place of my own.I'm a self-dependent person.A place of my own gives me a great deal of satisfaction.
Family is Conservative
My folks were totally against my career.But from childhood i was fond of acting and dancing.I was a big fan of Madhuri Dixit.I even made a tape of all my dances.I knew my family would oppose me, but i was determined.
For a while i was into designing.Eventually i got around my modelling.It took me a year to convince my mother.My dad wouldn't have approved of my career if he was around.
My mother let me do one ad film for which i was paid Rs.25,000 that seemed like a fortune then.After that there was no stopping me.I did many ads and music videos.Then Ekta Kapoor offered the role in Kahiin Toh Hoga
New Serial Hum do Humare Nau
It's a completely different character.And yes.Rajiv Khandelwal is my co-star.We share a great chemistry but all that gossip about us is annoying and embarrasing.I'm getting used to it though.Rajiv is a brilliant actor.
