Article-Rajeev: A chhadar for Mahim Darga

"My production manager Jamil bhai went to Mahim Darga to offer a chhadar of flower when he got the news. These are the people who don't have a face value but they have a greater value in our life since we are always surrounded by them but I never knew that they care so much for us", said a moved Rajeev.

Khandelwal's make-up man Sunil Tambe was the first person to congratulate him after he won the award for the best actor for Left Right Left at the first annual, 'Sansui Television Awards.' Sunil had also done his make-up for the awards ceremony that was held on 10 March at the Andheri Sports Complex, Mumbai.

Rajeev Khandelwal's mother who stays in Jaipur was also waiting the whole day for his call. She had also hoped that he will win this award.

"She never watches serials but she used to see Left Right Left only for me. Mom was happy with my performance so I called her up late in the night and informed her about the award. She was extremely happy", exclaimed Rajeev.

The handsome telly star's decision to sign up for Left Right Left generated mixed reactions in the industry. So has this award vindicated his stance?

"Some people thought that working for a serial on SAB TV wasn't a smart move but this award proves that I made the right choice", explains Rajeev.
