| | | | lost in transition: Aamna Shariff, Gurpreet Singh and Vikas Sethi in Kahiin To Hoga | The cast and crew of Kahiin To Hoga spent two days in the middle of the Arabian Sea while shooting for an important scene. Vikas Sethi, Aamna Shariff and Gurpreet Singh were shooting a fight sequence on a motorboat off Madh Island. The scene revolves around Swayam and Sujal having a tiff, with Kashish also a part of the plot. A unit member reveals that shooting on the yacht wasn't an easy task. "We had to do a lot of action scenes and the vessel was quite small. So it was important that no one got hurt in the process. Also, we had to travel quite a large distance onto the ocean, so that the coast couldn't be seen." Balancing act When asked about if they got stranded in the middle of the ocean, Gurpreet says, "It's a boat and we are in the middle of the ocean, so there is a possibility of losing our way!" It is learnt that during the shoot, Gurpreet almost fell off the yacht. When asked, the actor says, "I didn't fall in the water but I was quite close to the railings. Since we were shooting for action scenes, it wasn't easy maintaining balance on the boat." Admitting that he isn't a great swimmer, Gurpreet says, "I can swim to save my life. But since that situation never arose, it was quite safe."
Talking about the shoot, he says, " I have never shot for anything like this before. It was incredible. I think the audience is going to love it." Falling flat Vikas Sethi was thrilled about performing high-octane stunts. "I had to jump from the yacht to another fishing boat. It was scary but at the same time challenging. Since I know how to swim, the worst that could happen was falling into the water and getting wet!" In spite of suffering seasickness, Vikas had a rocking time on the shoot. "I can't stay on water for too long. But the fact that everyone was working so hard made up for my aversion to the sea." When asked if they got lost on their way back, he says, "We did struggle a bit to make our way back to the shore. There was some confusion in following back the net markings that show you the direction." Talking about the challenges of shooting on a boat, he says, "It was a medium-sized boat and could hold 10 people. The task was not to slip and fall during the action scenes. I had scenes where I had to punch Gurpreet, and before I could even raise my hand he would be on the floor. The same happened with me, so it was quite funny doing them!" |
