The film Aamna wants to forget

Aamna played the role of a college student, Jennifer, who falls in love with a guy, only to realise later that there is a third angle to this romance. Playing Aamna's best friend in the film is none other than Kanishka — current Sujal's (Gurpreet Gill) wife. When contacted, Aaamna refused to comment on the project or divulge any details. However, a source close to her revealed, "It is obvious that she wants to forget about the film. After joining Balaji and working in Kahiin To Hoga, she's become a hugely popular face. Why would she want someone to remember her as an actress in a C-grade film?" Sources reveal that Aamna did the film just before she bagged the prestigious role of Kashish. "That time, Aamna wasn't getting any offers from Bollywood, so she went to try her luck in the South. Why just her, many other popular actors from the big and the small screen have done similar projects in the past." Sights set on Bollywood We contacted one of her KTH co-stars to get her reaction on this matter, under the condition of anonymity she said, "It is quite shocking that she has worked in such a film. I am sure no one is aware about it. But why hide it if you have done it? Today, she is a popular face anyway. I know she is looking for big movies in Bollywood, maybe that's why she wants people to forget about this film." Aamna's close friends reveal the actress is flooded with film offers, but is waiting for the right role. "She is doing a daily, so she wants to ease that out first, before she signs any big film. As far as offers are concerned, she gets calls from producers at least two to three times in a day." |
