Update 17th April - DNA report arrives

For some reason, our regular updater could not update Thursday's episode, so I have done it myself. Sorry for the delay.

Full Update

Restless Chaya

The family are waiting for the DNA report to arrive when Om returns. Chaya is extremely anxious for the report to arrive, and blames Parvati for the lateness. Om tells Chaya to keep her mouth shut till the report arrives, and then he leaves.

Love triangles and subplots

Gauri is standing on a stool packing something away when she slips and falls, falling into Ishan's arms.[where did he suddenly show up from? Is he spying on her?😕😆And why do Ishan-Gauri-Ashu-Shivangi not seem to know or care about the situation with Paro? Ashu considers Paro his mamma, and yet he is least concerned about being by her side at this time, and more concerned with "romancing" Gauri] They stare into each other's eyes for a while, until he puts her down. Ashu comes into the room, and Gauri ignores Ishan and speaks sweetly with Ashu, making Ishan jealous. All this time, a romantic song is playing. Ishan feels sad, and leaves [aww, he looked really cute here😳😭].

Irritating Chaya...again

Maaji is distributing out her jewellery amongst her kids, with Gunn and Chaya picking out their faves. Chaya picks out a set of kangan, which Maaji tells her are kept for Parvati. Chaya immediately starts badmouthing Parvati, and Parvati and Kamal overhear. Parvati leaves, and Chaya smirks.

Kamal tells Parvati that Chaya should not have spoken like that, but Parvati avoids the subject.

Tannu ki mummy kaun?

Tannu wonders why Gunn is so against her modelling if she too was once a model. She knows that something is being hidden from her, and she resolves to find out. From a distance, her boss is watching her from his car. He tells the mystery person sitting next to him that Tannu is getting confused about her mamma, and this is the right time to take the next step.

Arrogant Chaya, angry Kamal and dashing new boy...

Parvati prepares for the evening's aarti, but Chaya tells her that she will do the honours instead. Kamal scolds Chaya, but she is least concerned. Then, a courier arrives with the DNA reports. Om takes it and looks at it, and then gives it to Kamal. Chaya is certain that the DNA report is against Parvati, and asks Kamal to read it. He walks up to her and burns the report in front of her. She screams at him to stop, and then tells everyone else to stop him. [Chaya darling, why didn't you just step back and move the flame away from Kamal instead of standing there and letting him burn it?!!😆] As usual, everyone stands there till the tamasha is over.

Chaya raises her hand to slap Kamal, but he stops her. He scolds each and every one in the family, supporting Parvati. He tells them all that they have never appreciated Parvati, and she has always suffered to make them happy. They have already believed that she is wrong, when the truth is that the DNA report proves she is right. Aditi is not Parvati's daughter. He warns Chaya that from now on, whatever Parvati will say will be the truth, and that truth will have to be accepted.

Chaya taunts him and insults Parvati, calling her a liar. She says that they must have changed the reports to help Parvati. [waah! If the reports said that Paro was Aditi's mother, then Chaya would believe them, but now that a negative result has come, they must be fake?!🤢] Chaya calls all the family fickle (well, that's true enough) and tells them to make their minds up - who do they believe, Parvati or Chaya? She tells them that Parvati is wrong, and doesn't deserve to live in this house. Om tells her to shut up, and asks who the hell she is to make such a decision. He tells her that he does not need to see a DNA report to believe or support Parvati; he tells Parvati to look in his eyes and tell him the truth - does she have a relationship with Aditi? She remembers all those hazy memories of herself with a small child, with Om's voice boring into her. Before she can answer, a man's voice says "I can answer that". They all turn, and a man [MukulDev] is standing on the landing, smiling. Aditi looks shocked.
