kahani is becoming soooo regressive and boring that its horrible to even sit thru a single episode. Ekta is too scared to try new bold stuff..hence she keeps going back to the same old nanad-chayya kinda politics and dramma...shame on balajee for not being able to pull out something bolder.... and what happened to the mehra household? how can u suddenly forget all abt central characters like suyash n rajeshwari? i miss them!!!!!

All serials experience periods of regression in their tracks. Writers can only do so much until they begin to fall out of ideas. I think Kahani has gone through quite a bit of interesting storylines, looking back in the "questions about KGGK" thread. Naturally, Ekta is wondering what she should do next, as writers do hit roadblocks in the process. Actors also need their breaks as well, and deserve the holidays we get every year. She may already have something lined up and is waiting for the time to come before she unravels it. As for the Rajeshwari track, Kiran Dubey is on holidays, as she mentioned in an article, and will be back shortly once the current track progresses.

^I agree. I wish Indian serials also had that "seasonal" approach to them; it keeps the actors fresh and it also gives the viewers a breather...and at least viewers would anticipate the return of their favourite show...

And after the Janki track, and Om's return, things were bound to fall short after a little while...we should get back to interesting stuff soon, as now Sasha is back too.

I think it's time Indian soaps tackled homosexuality, and I think Kahaani would be the best to do it, cause it usually deals with sensitive topics well.

They usually give the taboo stories to Kyunki first, i.e. Marital rape, euthenasia and other stuff, but Kahaani always does the stuff better than Kyunki anyway.

^^^^^^ 🤣 Indian public would go crrrrrrazy if that came on their TV. I know it happens a lot, but you know what Indians are like. They don't like facing up to the truth becoz they're too ashamed or worried about their reputation and crap like that....basically they're scared of the 'society' that they live in. I think it's pathetic tbh. *rolls eyes*
And you're right, Kahaani do things way better than Kyunki. 😉 😆

I think its just a passing phase that KGGK is going thru' currently n it won't be long before we see KGGK rocking as ever again! 👏 👏 👏 ...Now with the return of Sasha, some more of the long lost vamps are expected to rise n watching OP or even better, Janki deal with all of them should be interesting! 😉 😃 👏

There's just no way that Indian audiences are ready for homosexuality....they even freak out when they make social service films on Aids etc....so imagine the furore 😆

I know they would, but they went crazy with other stories portrayed by Kyunki, but it was still OK.

Oooh Aids, maybe they could tackle HIV and Aids before they go onto Homosexuality.

See, they have all these topics never been done, but they're too scared to do them, I want to be an actor and writer, and I wouldn't be scared writing something contraversial, but then again, I am in the UK, I wouldn't have effigies burnt of me if I did something to upset the audience, the most I'd get is letters to OFCOM 😆
