apparently praney was drunk when he raped madhvi so hedint remember what happend! (THAT IS WHY HE WAS SOO SHOCKED WHEN PARVATI TOLD HIM AFTER MADHVI'S MISSVARRIAGE)!!!

However he told adi (I DO NOT REMEMBER THE EXACT CONVERSATION) that he raped the woman he loved, when he was breaking that matki.

So that means he knew what he was doing and he remembered what he had done, so how does the drunk and not remembering thing come in? This is soo stupid and illogical!

no you are two mixing diff scenes. First of all its Maithili. Long back when Pranay was upset over the failure of his book,he had gone to Maithili for comfort.and they ended up sleeping together.He hadnt raped her then coz she had been equally involved.
It was after marriage that he raped her when he found out tht she loves Adi.
