Bashing getting out of control - READ

OK guys, I realise that this track has brought out the worst in a lot of characters but this continuous bashing that is going on in the forum is ridiculous. Just because they are behaving cheaply does not mean that the members of this forum also forget their decorum. I am all for free speech and totally agree that people are allowed to discuss and criticise a character's bad actions, but creating a topic simply to bash a character?!? I never expected this from this forum and its members😕 I have always had pride in this forum but today you guys have disappointed me😭 I cannot believe the number of posts I have had to close or edit. And no, before you say anything, I am not talking ONLY about the topics related to Shruti. There were a few topics on Parvati that I had to lock and trash as well.

I have not yet warned any member of this forum formally, through PMs or warning levels, because I always felt that you guys are a nice bunch and deserve to have your voices heard. But I am sorry to say that starting today, I and the other members of the Dev Team are going to adopt a zero-tolerance policy regarding such posts.

Firstly, any discussions that are related to this rape track MUST be posted in the appropriate sticky and not in the main forum - as you all are very much aware.

Secondly, I am a little baffled by the response of some members in this section. I know you all will say that I am just a blind Shruti supporter, but that is far from the truth. If you read any of my posts in the last few days, you will see clearly that I do NOT support Shruti in her actions and frankly find her actions disgusting. But that does not mean that it doesn't hurt me to read such horrible and some, frankly, unnecessary insults towards her. She does still have some fans, even if we are hanging on by a thread, and it would do you all well to show us a little respect, at least.

Aso don't forget that Shruti isn't the only one being disgusting these days - how about sparing a thought for Sonu, Varun, Mayuri, Maaji, Chaya and everyone else who is being ridiculous?! Shruti is not the instigator of this row, and nor is she the only voice I just don't understand why she is the ONLY one who gets all the flak, when in fact that whole family (barring Paro, Gunn and Mets) is at fault . Sonu is the one who first openly supported Pranay and even turned Varun and Shruti towards her thinking. Maaji had already made up her mind against Parvati's decision long before Shruti returned. Chaya is just always opposed to anything Paro does. I know that Shruti's actions in the last few days have been beyond sick and disgusting🤢,but so have Pranay's, Sonu's and Mayuri's. Let's not make Shruti the focus of an intense hate-campaign, shall we?

And one thing that the Dev Team will NOT tolerate, under ANY circumstances, is topics that are created solely to bash a character, be that Shruti, Sonu or even Pranay. There is a way to express your distate for a particular character, and I think we've lost sight of that code of conduct a little bit.

You guys might think I'm being harsh, but you wouldn't think that if you had spent the day editing, trashing and locking offensive posts. Some of the posts have been edited almost IMMEDIATELY after they were posted, so you won't even have seen them. It's not nice or fair for me or other mods to have to read those posts and clean up our forum.

So, here is a reminder of the rules, for those of you who have forgotten:

• No bashing an actor, whether it is for the character they play OR for their looks. This will NOT be tolerated!!
• Even when you are expressing dislike for a particular character, remember IF's code of conduct and please use language appropriate for a public forum - young children also visit this site
• NO opening "bashing" threads and/or inviting people to attack a character. If your post does not contribute in some way to a healthy discussion, then it WILL be locked and trashed.

If any of the above rules are not adhered to, then warning levels will rise - this is an official warning for everyone!

Having said that, please don't think that we (the Dev Team) are curbing your freedom of speech in any way; you are still free to express your views and we would love for you to continue doing so. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a sucker for a good, heated debate😉😆

Hey..Vas..I do visit this forum ..but as a silent reader..Few days back when I was quite active I did see sum issues poundering over Shruthi..though it's just a character but yes why only pointing at this women,it was actually Sonu who tried to be the evilest of all..if we see and also not keep bashing it..since it's just a serial!!
I am not from the KGGK dev team..but well..agreeing with Vas..I believe let's keep this forum rocking with our clean posts and nice discussions..
We all can make a bit of "fun" of pranay..sonu..especially the not-so-goody-miss-but-I-am..Chaya..we can all joke wid her character na ;D

really even i dont get why only Shruti is being targeted. NO im not supporting her at all,frankly im quite disgusted with what all she has been saying and the way she has been pressurising Mets......BUT she isnt the only one....she is doing this for her son or you can say trying to prevent him from going to jail.........but wht motive do the others have? Sonu who is Pranay's real mother is just concerned abt money.Same goes for Chaya. Varun: no commments 🤢 n Maaji,shez the eldest! What is wrong with her??

Afterall, KGGK has been the most decent n best Forum ever with members respecting each other's viewpoints...so we should all strive to keep up the reputation of this Forum without tarnishing its existing Image! 😊

Hi Vasu. 😃 Thanks for the topic and helping clear up a few points. 😃 I'll be very, very honest... 😃 I'm a big Shruti basher... 😃 but in all honesty, its only directed at the character, 🤢 never the actress... 😉 in fact, I think Tina is a fantastic actress and I say that in every post of mine... 👏 👏 👏 more than Shruti, I'd just like to say that the way Pranay, the character is bashed is what should be curbed... 😳 no offence to the person who did it but if u go back a few pages, there is actually a poll being conducted asking people to rate Pranay's nose and ears... and I found that simply terrible... glad u have brought this issue up yaar, thanks a lot. 😃 And yes, I'll be very frank with u... if u have found anything I have said about Shruti offensive, I apologise coz I'm one who's never minced words on my opinion about Shruti ... 😳 and I'm even going to be honest enough and say that I'm not going to stop writing against the character of Shruti... but its my true opinion and I would never be abusive in any way... 😳 as for bashing the others... 😉 well, I think I've bashed every Agarwal including Sonu, Pranay and the elders... but yes, there is a very clear reason for why I bash Shruti more than anyone... am going to put it up in my analysis today... 😳and have made sure that I only post in the suitable topics made for such issues... 😳 so apologies if I'm in ur list of offenders in any way, 😉 hopefully I'm not... 😳 but honestly, more than Shruti, I think anti-Pranay posts have to be toned down... some of them are really very, very offensive esp coz they target Jeetu the actor more than Pranay the character... Vasu all I want to say is that I dont condone "actor or character" bashing at all, but I also understand where the members are coming from when they bash characters like Pranay, Sonu, Shruti etc... With such a sensitive issue as rape, and how Ekta has shown some of characters articulating there opinions be it in the greed of money (Sonu, Chaya) or in motherly love (shruti), this will provoke negative response from the audience (esp in Sonu and chaya's case), which is inevitable and to certain extent unavoidable. Thus, contradicting views/opinion in this forum will be voiced.

Like I understand why Shruti is behaving like this, but on the same hand I totally understand why people totally oppose her behaviour/actions and her reasoning. And to be honst I am also disgusted with Sonu's Chaya's and even Shruti's reasoning and there recent actions. From what I have read here, people have voiced why they oppose Shruti's, Sonu's, actions and seem to me valid reasons to combat such behaviour.

That's why I believe as long as constructive criticism is kept alive in the forum, and is kept healthy then Im fine with it.

I personally have voiced what ekta is showing esp with Shruti's current behaviour most womens in the REAL world would do the same, clearly they would choose there son over there Bahu, its sick but its reality. And as you have rightly pointed out I am more disgusted with the behaviour of Chaya, Sonu as they only are doing this in the name of MONEY, not of any true affection for Pranay 🤢 . Shruti maybe wrong, but her reasons are genuine.

So all I say is that Mods should be alittle lenient and merciful in such a sensitive track showing presently, as it is hard to digest some of the things shown which will provoke negative response.

P.S. Im sorry Vasu for anything you disagree with, but just putting up my two cents.
