sorry sorry sorry for the immense delays! i acctually rushed this chapter and it didn't turn out quite like i hoped it would..this is like a filler coz i don't wnat to keep you all waitng too long...so sorry if its disappointing

but without any further adue..here's the part!

Chapter 44

Standing next to karan and fake smiling, she mentally cursed adi. Seething silently, she watched adi take a slim figured girl to the dancefloor and dance with her. She turned to Karan and smiled…
Karna smiled back…
Maithili gave him an expectant look…
Ask me to dance you dork!!! She silently thought
K: ummm…would you like to dance?
Maihtili nodded and followed him onto the floor.
He lightly planced one hand on her waist and one on her hand. Maithili placed her hand on his shoulder and one on his hand. She danced to the slow beat stealing glances at adi. She noticed him staring back at her and karan. She grinned, looking sideways and moved herself closer to Karan. Adi tightened his grip on the girl's waist and pulled her closer ot him.

Maithili saw the angered look on his face and smirked proudly at him. He knew very well what she was doing but still he couldn't help feeling a pang of jealousy when she danced in Karan's arms. He pulled the bimbo in his hand further in and she blatantly obliged.
He grinned at maithili and at her annoyed face. Maithili moved further towards Karan, smiling, enjoying adi's annoyance.

Adi huggeed the girl and maithili pulled karan into a hug. The girl and karna were totally bemused…
Ka: uh maithili…are you allright?
M: of course! I..i'm fine!
Adi put his hands on the girl's waist and maithili put her arms round karan's neck.
There was some sort of a race going on between adi and maithili to see who would get the other more furious

Maithili looked into karan's eyes and fakely smiled
Karan smiled back.
K: maithili I …really like you..
Maithili froze and stared at Karan…
M: w…what?
K: I …know…that you don't like me…you like adi…
M: how do you…
Karan pulled maithili closer by her waist and whispered in her ear…
K: you love him…don't you…
Maithili was too shocked to speak…
K: its so obvious maithili! You two love each other so much! And I know both of you are married…
M: you do?
K: yes yes…I even know of this little game you're playing…this competition between the both of you..
M: karan I can explain…
K: come outside…

Maithili and karan sat on the garden bench and looked at each other…
M: i..
K: you don't need to explain anything maithili…
M: but I need to tell you something…
K: tell me then..
M: karna, I know you like me and I took advantage of that…but I like you too ! just…not In that way! And i…I don't love adi…I just want to…
K: to make him jealous?
M: yes..
K: why maithili?
M: because….because..
K: you love him! You really do! Trust me on this one! You love him and he…that duffer loves you too…he just doesn't know it for himself
Maithili smiled at Karan…
M: thankyou…but I still don't agree I love him…
Karan laughed: ok then…but when you decide to believe that you do…do call me
Maithili laughed and hugged karan…
M: thankyou..for being a good friend..
K: you too..
Both parted and smiled at each other.

Maithili got up and turned round…she froze to the ground as she found Adi standing against the doorway watching her…
Adi's face was filled with fury. He walked up to maithili and karan in rage..
A: tum dono waha kya kar rahe the??
M: whatever we were doing is none of your business!
A: oh yes it is! You're my…
M: I'm you're what adi??? What…???
A: karan! Get out now!!!
Karan didn't speak and quietly left…
Adi held maithili's hand and pulled her to the house…up the stairs and to their room.
M: adi stop it!! What are you doing!!!
A: what am I doing?? What the hell are you doing??
M: I'm doing exactly what you did!!! and why does it bother you huh? What difference does it make to you? you don't even care about me! How dare you tell your friends you're not even married to me…arey even karan can be a better husband than you! he understood me!
A: fineeee!!! It was my mistake!!! I agree!!! But why him – why karan?!!! You knew he liked you!!!
M: yes I did! So what if it was him!!
A: because he likes you!!!
M: and…???
A: and he might love you!!!
M: and..??
A: and I don't want that to happen because I love you!
M: an..maithili stopped mid way…she lookeda t him black facedly…
She gritted her teeth and turned away..
M: disgusting! I can't believe you still think all of this is a joke! How could you even say such a thing!!! 3rd time this is! The 3rd time you said I LOVE YOU an dall these times it was a joke! Sick! How sick are you?
She left the room and went.

Adi raked his hand through his hair and sat on the bed…
This was so not going right for him..why did he just say he loved her when he really didn't…or did he? All of this was too confusing, he didn't understand why he felt so at loss for words when he saw her walk down the stairs at the beginning of th eparty…he didn't understand why he felt jealous at seeing her in another man's arms…he didn't understand why he felt rage at seeing her hug Karan, he didn't understand why he just said I LOVE YOU to her..he sighed and laid down on the bed..he had no idea why he said that, but this time he knew those words didn't just escape from his mouth…they escaped from his heart…

He woke in the morning and opened his window, he grinned at maithili opening her window in the BAJAJ mansion…
She frowned at him and turned away. He suddenly had the urge to wrap his arms round her and hug her, andhe decided, in this day, he'd do just that!
He left his house and went to Bajaj mansion. Having the spare keys was always handy!…
He opened the door and allowed himself in. He saw her in the corridor upstairs. He grinned and silently made his way up the stairs…
Standing behind her, he whispered in her ear…

A: so you decided to live here then..
She gasped and turned round…
M: how did you get here? She questioned with much anger…
He stared at her for a moment, she looked so pretty today. He straight hair caressing her cheek as the wind blew past. Without answering her question, he continued to stare at her..

Maihtili grew annoyed of him, pushing him back, she went down the stairs…
She went in the kitchen and started preparing breakfast for herself..
He came and stood behind her. He didn't know why he was following her but being close to her seemed to make him happy. She noticed him and stopped. Putting her hands on her waist she glared at him…
A: what?? He asked innocently
M: you know very well what!! Why are you following me?
A: I can do what ever I want! Besides, I'm hungry!!
M: and who said I'll be feeding you today?
A: if you don't…then..
M: then what?
A: then..i do something you wished I'd never do! And you know me very well maithili…
M: no vikram aditya! You know Me very well…if you attempt any thing…
She couldn't continue hersentence, she felt far too shocked…

This part was NO WAY a filler. It was a sikkk part man! Adi was sooooooo cute in the end following her around like a lost puppy.....awwww. 😳 Hmmm, I wonder if he hugged her in the end. 😉 N tryna make each other angrier than the other, typical people in love, who are in denial about it. What can you do ey?! *shakes head* 😆 That Karan guy, whoever he is, what a sweetheart! Bless! 😳

That was just too good 👏 Man! Adi still can't unnderstand his heart...that he is in love 😳 & that's why he is jealous 😉 Men I tell you...stupid, idiots 😛 & she loves him too but wants to deny it 😆 & Karan is so sweet 😳 Wonder how he found out about A-M's wedding 😉 ...I kinda feel bad 😭 for him but A-M are made for each other 😳 I think Mets is shocked beacuse Adi is holdin her in his arms & maybe even kissing her 😉 . I loved the way this part is written. Plz do continue soon.
