Shastra sets out to find Anirudh. Tariksha tells Nithika that she and Anirudh are going. Vansh goes to meet Vidhya who tells him that the shooter was called Black Snake.
Vansh Katha – Episode Forty Three
Vansh and Tariksha at lunch…
Tariksha: What the hell is Black Snake supposed to mean?
Vansh: I know it sounds confusing but my guess is that whoever was hired to assassinate Shlok Singhania was known by this name.
Tariksha: Wow I didn't know they still used names like that.
Vansh: Well it was over twenty years ago and whoever goes by that name is who pulled the trigger and that's what I need to find out.
Tariksha: I can help you out if you want…
Vansh: What happened to the whole give up on your revenge speech?
Tariksha: Well I still want you to do that but I'm hoping that allowing you to find out who actually shot Shlok might lessen your anger toward Sidharth and Poornima.
Vansh: Just being nice to that man who took my mother's freedom to live away makes me sick!!! There is no way that my anger is lessening anytime soon.
Tariksha: You know, I don't want to get into an argument about this with you right now so can we please just have lunch like a normal couple?

Back at the Garden Caf Vansh and Tariksha have finished their lunch date and Tariksha has gone back to work. Vansh is moving towards his car when suddenly…
Shastra: Hi Anirudh.
Anirudh: Hi Shastra, what are you doing here?
Shastra: I was in the neighborhood and I was thinking of paying Nithika di a visit and then I saw you here.
Anirudh: Oh cool. Well tell Nithika I said hi. I have to head back to work now.
Shastra: Oh crap.
Anirudh: What?
Shastra: Well I didn't realize you had to go back to work and I was hoping that you could take me around you know.
Anirudh: Oh of course, but there'll be plenty of time for that later I'm sure.
Shastra: Yea I suppose.
Anirudh: Hey, how about if I take you out to dinner. Just you and me, we can go some place nice and I'll show you around a bit. Does that sound good?
Shastra: Excellent.
Anirudh: Super, I'll see you later then.
Shastra: Ok.
He gets into the car and drives off leaving Shastra smug.
Shastra: This dinner date is going to be one to remember Mr. Anirudh Nanda. You and I are going to get very comfortable.
At Tariksha's office she keeps thinking about her lunch date with Vansh but then she is rudely disturbed by thoughts of the information Raket brought her from Mumbai.
Tariksha: Why did I have to be the one who found out? Damn it this is so not fair. I try to play the role of the good friend and now I'm suddenly the deceptive girlfriend. This is really not on. I have to do something about this… But what?
Vansh arrives at the Patel Mansion later that evening…
Nithika: Hey, what you doing here?
Anirudh: Well there were some papers that came over from the bank earlier today and uncle Sidharth was wondering if I could drop them off with you.
Nithika: Bank papers?
Anirudh: Yea something about a joint account you share with your mom and…

Vansh's phone starts ringing…
Anirudh: Hang on a second. Hello?
Shastra: Hey where are you?
Anirudh: Oh hi. I just had to come and drop some stuff off at Nithika's place and I'll come get you soon after.
Shastra: Ok I'll be ready by the time you get here then.
Anirudh: Great.
He hung up and left his phone on a side table to give Nithika the papers.
Anirudh: Can I use your bathroom?
Nithika: Yea go right in, I can actually sign these and give them back to you.
So he goes into the bathroom and Nithika signs the papers… He comes back out and she gives the papers back to him.
Anirudh: Ok I'm off then.
Nithika: Oh are you off on a date?
Anirudh: Well I wouldn't call it that exactly.
Nithika: With Tariksha?
Anirudh: Hmmm you heard about that I see.
Nithika: I did.
Anirudh: And as happy as I am about that, tonight's date is actually with your cousin.
Nithika: Shastra?
Anirudh: Yea, she told me that she wanted to go out and see what Bangalore looks at night. I didn't want to explain that you can hardly do that by going out to dinner but she seemed happy.
Nithika: Oh no Shastra!
Anirudh: What?
Nithika: I mean… You won't want to be late to pick Shastra up would you? Go on.
Anirudh: Ok then, I'll see you maybe tomorrow.
Nithika: Probably.
Anirudh left and Nithika was almost up the stairs when she heard a phone ringing.
Nithika: That doesn't sound like my phone.
Then she saw it.
Nithika: What's Anirudh's phone doing here? He must have forgotten to take it when he came back out of the bathroom.
She walked over to the side table and picked up the phone. She pushed the talk button and was about to say hello when…
