Episode begins with Dadi bua telling Ankit that he should not have dared to say this. Ankit says that he has said all he needed to, and turns to leave (what a lover! leave your so-called love to face the music, why don't you?😡). dadi bua keeps calling him, but he doesn't listen; Pragati is ecstatic.
The kiddies are still searching for Trishna when they decide to change their target - Janki Devi. They come prepared with colours and see JD standing in front of them. For some reason, their plan fails and they are too scared to throw rang on her. Then they say that they were going somewhere else. JD stops them and comes towards them menacingly. Kiddies are scared, JD goes up to the plate of gulal, and rubs it on their faces sweetly😳she wishes them Happy Holi and leaves. They say that if she put colour on them, they can also put colour on her😳😆they follow her, call her and aim - but dadi bua comes in between at the right moment and gets covered in colour😆😆😆
Trishna and Rajo are downing the bhaang-filled thandai like there's no tomorrow, and Kamal comes there and tells them to go play Holi and dance. Trishna and Rajo are so out of it that the agree😆and dance to Rang Barse😆
JD comes and gives Kamal a bucket, which he takes to Rajo and tells her to put water on Trishna😆😆Maasi and JD laugh as Rajo drenches Trishna😆. Kamal comes and starts taking Trishna's "side" and generally stirs about😆😆
Trishna and Rajo are about to get into a catfight and Kamal tells Trishna to do the same to Rajo; she pours a bucket of coloured water over Rajo😆😆Kamal does his "compering" again😆😆. JD also comes and starts stirring - basically, they keep egging Trishna and Rajo on to pour colour over each other; eventually Rajo and Trishna start a fight. (lol, all they need is some mud😆😆). They keep arguing and soon blurt out that Trishna killed her....husband (Om). The police have also conveniently arrived at this point. The cops come and Trishna and Rajo start laying the blame on each other. But the cops are here for JD. She is under arrest (huh?!!) for the theft of the painting. Rajo and Trishna support Janki (there's a first!) and tell her that they will help her. JD says that she is not a member of AG House, and if the painting has arrived for her there, it does not mean that she is culpable (thank God - Parvati would have just gone w/o a word). JD says that they should catch the person who sent the culprit. The cops say that they don't know who it is (figures - idiots). The cops say that the painting is with her at the mo. They want to search the house, and JD demands a search warrant. They have one. Maasi and JD are shocked. Kamal has disappeared by this point (presumably to help).
The cops search the house, esp. JD's room. But of course, the painting is not there. Maasi asks JD queitly where the painting is, JD says wardrobe. The cops check it but there is nothing there. (Gooo Kamal!!). JD tells the cops that they wasted her time. Maasi says that they should have thought before they accused JD. JD says that outside this room, nothing belongs to her. Then maasi and JD wonder where the painting went.
The cops come to Shruti and Sameer's room. Shruti says that theft is not a big deal for a woman who tried to kill her. The cops find the painting. Everyone is shocked. The cops say that Sameer is responsible and they arrest him (Ha ha!!😆😆 ab aaya oont pahad ke neeche😆😆 What were you saying Shruti? Now watch your husband suffer for the mercy of JD😉).
Shruti says that all of this is happening because of JD. JD says that Shruti should lower her eyes; Shruti says that she has stolen their happiness (you were happy? Really? Could have fooled me). JD tells her to stop. JD tells Shruti that not everything in the world happens because of her (JD). She really tells Shruti off - says that she should go and save her husband. JD tells Shruti to "get a life" (well said JD, well said!!👏👏). JD tells Shruti to take care of her house first; she leaves.
In her room, she wonders what happened; she says that Shruti really hates her. She says that she knows Sameer is not responsible; Maasi says that they will release him w/o proof. She leaves. JD says that she is worried about Shruti. She must save Sameer. She calls someone, its the mystery guy (supposedly Ashu, from the promos). JD seems to recognise the voice.
She tells him to release Sameer. The cop is really bored, but says that she does not have the right to tell him anything. He cuts her off. Then takes a picture of Parvati out of his drawer (seriously, you freak!). He says that he knew the day would come when they meet again; JD says that she has to go and see him herself.
Maasi is telling Suyash that JD has probably gone to save Sameer. They have to stop her, otherwise JD will be hurt.
As JD leaves, Kamal asks her where she is going. He says that he was the one who removed it from her room, he did not know that the cops would search the whole house. JD says that she will go and free Sameer.
JD goes to the cop's room. It is Ashu, as the promos stupidly revealed. JD is shocked and choked with emotion.

Comments: Well, this would have been a great surprise had the promos not given away the story; but yes, Ashu is back and it is Raj (wonder how they convinced him to come back after the leap?). Let's see what JD does tomorrow; I have a feeling Ashu knows its Parvati, and also that Suyash knows this whole drama.
I was sort of disappointed that they missed an opportunity to reveal that Trishna and Rajo killed Om; I mean, they did mention it in front of all those people but no one seemed particularly shocked and the whole situation was averted with the arrival of the cops. Wonder how long it will take to reveal the truth.
