because Parvati found out that Sanjay Dhoshi was planning on destroying Om's business and she knew she couldn't convince him on this since he had already not believed that Monalika was pregnant with Aryan's child. So when the accident happened it was the perfect way for her to do a face swap with Swati and come as a stranger into the lives of the Agarwals in order to reveal the truth to everyone.
