The old Pallavi (Shweta Kawarta) didn't want to play mother to older characters - she said that evetually when Krishna and Gunn would have children, she would a grandmother and she did not want that. Also, I think she said she was kinda bored paying pallavi...

I liked her too, but also if anyone were to replace her, Achint Kaur is the best choice. I think Mandira Bedi would have played her well too.
