Right now finite series are the solution guys. Like a 30 or 60 days series which will run for 30 mins daily. It will keep the shows pace higher and audience will be interested to watch it. 30 days for low budget shows and 60 days for high budget shows. This will maintain a balance between quality & quantity. Haha.

Channels wouldn’t follow this. They don’t wanna risk losing shows that are already working for them.

Not saying to shut all shows once for all but atleast let this trend start with one-two finite series. Experiment you know. Like bringing a finite show at 6:00 pm for testing. They really should get rid of these daily soap formula its simply arising more probs in tv industry. Here, Bengali shows are getting finite slowly, they run it for a year or two and shut it. One bengali production house producer said that if a story is dragged unnecessarily it wont make sense. He shut his 7th position trp show keeping this in mind which is so sensible IMO. Hindi tv industry should follow this rule too.

Let’s not forget that StarPlus has been running a show for more than a decade. Take YJHJK for example. Even that was touted to be a finite series, but since it brought TRP, they got rid of the ‘finite’ tag and now will run it till it brings ratings. Hindi TV producers and channels don’t understand what ‘finite shows’ are.

Disappointing reality !

I just came across an article on SP's downfall on IF. Read many comments and came to know few vital points that is -

1) Female leads are not strong anymore. The strong female lead they gave example was Zara from Zee's Ishq Subhan Allah.

2) Yrkkh, kzk, Kdb, Kbb like shows are the roots of regressiveness. Once they are uprooted the next moment audience will build up trust for sp.

3) The shows are no more fresh. The channel lacks fresh content. They need relatable and realistic shows. One person said that SP will have to understand that 10-20 years old show formula wont work anymore now.

4) Nepotism. SP is not giving chances to new production houses and thats why its costing them too. 3 shows by Shahi, 2 by Ekta. Who will watch then. Who will be interested to watch. There's no creativity at all. Colors atleast gave chances to small production. I am see Choti Sardaarni's production house, with their first show itself they rocked the trp charts. So there should more chances given to the new production houses.

5) Most important. Promoting every show. Just because one show got 2.4 and other 1.2 it doesnt mean you will stop promoting it. Shame !

6) There should be shows of every genre. I am saying, Khkt was the only romcom left, even they scrapped it too 5 months are on. People says in the comment section that is there is no more light hearted content only drama and masala. Who will watch it. Anupuma is the trp topper because it is only show which has bunch of light hearted scenes. All others lack at this.

Found the girl cute and beautiful but male lead 👎🏼

Will give a try. Hope I could able to watch some new shows that too with my people around😆. Main reason me not watching daily soaps because of my family who taunts as in KHKT. Most of the time they watch movies, Web series or cricket match.
