Coming to this tweet.. After reading it I watched the iv and in his 40+ mins interview he never mentioned/praised either karan/Dipika. Infact he wasn't very comfortable taking about KHKT I felt. The guy was introspecting about himself mostly. He is still hurt about the abrubt ending and faces the fact the show never garnered enough TRP.

In previous IVs I find he is equal with his praise for both. He always praised Dipika's professionalism and said no one else can be Sonakshi (in Dipika's farewel instapost)

Sandip has always been full of admiration for Dipika in all his IVs.. Infact all the KHKT team been very appreciative of Dipika and gave positive remarks about working with her.

I find everyone asks the KHKT team members about dipika and never ask dipika about her bond with the members??(Dipka never gives IVs??)

see this is not to fault Dipika about her connect with the team as it's her choice which is absolutely fine and as an actress she gave more that 100%. So why expect/ask everyone about Dipika outside of the show?? Extend the same courtesy to others also.

Everyone including sandip thinks sona is DIPKA.. He acknowledged in many of his reply to insta posts/Ivs... It's unfair to find fault with him for expressing his personal choise.. We all have one.

I think Sonakshi was, is and will always be DIPKA and it's also because of the characterization which was done by him. I feel this guy supported all the KHKT members equally when it came to their work on KHKT. Last IV on insta, he said he is overwhelmed with the reach of Ronakshi and credited both Karpika for it.

Sometime one get the feeling everyone except Dipika is expected to talk about KHKT and Ronakshi... This is not to offend any of the sentiments of you all as Dipika's fan but to say finding fault in everyone is unfair, be it khkt members or the fans.

This was Sandip, the producer's IV and he produced many other shows apart from KHKT.

Having said that let me say this show which had such a beautiful, equally strong & powerful Chracters, Rohit-Sonakshi became Dipika vs Karan esp after marriage track when Sona character changed. We all demanded how Sona should be which led to lots of negative feelings amongst fans. See no actors should be above the character.

This show started as a pure content based show which lost its shine when they meased up with the story. Then none of the actors prowess helped. So please let's accept the show is over way before it's time and everyone were brilliant in their roles(except Raima🤢).

Both the actors & Chracters were one of a kind and may Karpika reach all success in their work.

As few others mentioned when I saw Karpika I was so sceptical of their jodi but man did they prove me wrong...Ronakshi is beyond beautiful and the credit first goes to the maker then to the actors in my opinion.

Also everyone is expected to have favorites.. even in work... Two people click for various reasons and that does not mean they don't value the other lead. Not saying there is no biases but this show was too short lived for those politics to arise.

Both Karan & Dipika are very professional and genuine people. They were very respectful of EO always. Let the fans do the same and when few don't from both FDs let's ignore and be as grasious as of our favorites..

Looking forward to Karan & Dipika's projects soon preferably not together and that's is my viewpoint. There is too much negativity in the fan circle which affected the show and continuous to do. It would be better to see them pair up with new actors as both can create chemistry with their co-actors.

Not denying he did! On the professional front, I didn't feel anything wrong or missing till yesterday... But today's twitter posts didn't seem to suggest that both of them are on good terms...

I'm confused as to who is 'everyone' here. Anyway, if it suggests the fans, well, it's just the huge difference in the ratio of IVs of Dipika and the other KHKT members... Most actors say that she is reserved (which is true; I don't think her marriage has led to that as she maintained a low profile even before tying the knot with Shoaib)...

I don't mean to say that others should talk about KarPika/ Dipika, especially knowing the fact that KHKT is done. But Sandiip was giving an interview regarding his upcoming and the previous projects apparently, so not mentioning KarPika together doesn't seem to sit well with me... And always linking Sonakshi to Divyanka is so unusual

The rest, I agree! Just doubtful about Dipika and Sandiip's equation... Not that I really care but as KHKT is now off air and we can't hope for a season 2, I wished to cherish memories knowing that everything's fine between that trio who have successfully given us a memorable show❤️

I haven’t watched Sandiip’s interview. But if he did mention that Sonakshi’s role was inspired from Divyanka without making any mention of Dipika, it’s strange. As someone pointed out, it’s not a given that Divyanka would agree to whatever show Sandiip is planning to cast her in. Things may or may not work. So chill guys.

Clarifying my stance on this:

It's not that I'm hoping DT doesn't get casted opposite to KVG 😂 I hope that things go as Sandiip wishes and everything sits well for his next show!

I don't detest him😂 (how can I? KHKT was a gem and he had a major role in it's success).

He's a talented guy and can come up with really good content driven shows (which I think is a rarity in ITV😆).

In this IV he never even brought up khkt on his own and when it came up it was in the context of how the show failed when he expected to go on for more years.

Pls don't feel obliged to defend Dipika. I am not against her rather was voicing out against the unfairness to the producer esp in this IVs. There was nothing wrong/controversy in it. He didn't praise/like Karan(or others)for KHKt or otherwise. He mentioned who he thought his dream pair. If one expressing his own choise is wrong then he was.

If Sandip is only professional towards Dipika then I think theirs was related to only work environment. Other team members bonded over parties hosted for KHKT by him and others. This is my opinion.

I don't want to comment anything about Sandiip. I decided today that I am ignoring him from now onwards. I mentioned this in my previous comments also. From now onwards, I will concentrate and hype only my favourite Dipika Kakar Ibrahim for my own peace and happiness. So, I am not going to argue with you in this matter.

In the live Sandip was asked specifically who his dream Jodi is and he said KVG and DT. It’s very obvious that he adores both of them thus probably wants to see them onscreen together. I wouldn’t even be surprised if he were to cast DT and KVG together in his own shows (though I am skeptical on this). Whatever interviews I have watched of Sandip, whenever asked about the concept of KHKT, he has always mentioned that the character of Sonakshi is inspired from DT. He has said that after knowing DT personally and getting to know what her life is as an ITV actress, Sonakshi’s character was inspired. There is nothing wrong in it. At the end of the day, though DT was the inspiration behind Sonakshi’s charcater, Sandip still have DK the role to portray (and she did it really well). In fact, he has mentioned that DK is his Sonakshi, no one could have portrayed Sonakshi expect her (see his comment on her insta post)

And I agree with you. It’s like every live or interview the cast does, there are questions about DK and they have always said good things about her, esp KVG. He has always praised her, given her the credit, called her his “darling costar”, however even I have noticed DK hasn’t said anything about KVG or the show (after the show ended), which is okay because that is her prerogative. For example, when Shalini (Veena Sippy) posted “what the cast of KHKT are doing during quarantine), DK wasn’t in the video but many people bashed her for DK not being there. How is that her fault? I am sure a message was sent to the entire cast of KHKT to send their videos and if DK didn’t send her (her choice again), it isn’t shalini’s or anyone else’s fault. So If we don’t expect her to say things regarding show or the cast, why should we expect that from the cast or Sandip? 🤷🏻‍♀️. That is unfair judgements to the cast and Sandip.

Sandip’s relationship with DK has always been professional. However with KVG, it seems like they had a great rapport and gelled really well together and became good friends, thus he adores KVG (nothing wrong with that). Even with the other cast members, Sandip has a very friendly relationship, with eg kishwer, Shalini, Dhwani, kashish, abhishek, Wasim etc. These cast Members were always there at Sandip’s Diwali party, birthday party, KVG’s Diwali party, Tanaz’s house party, farewell brunch so obviously the cast probably clicked with him better and the cast members also have really good rapport and are friendly with each other. I just feel the other cast members, KVG and Sandip shouldn’t be held accountable for these things when DK herself hasn’t attended any functions or celebrations related to the show, the cast or the producer, which is again okay and totally her choice. As you said, one shouldn’t judge Sandip or others. 😊

This probably is gonna be my last post on Dipika- Sandiip issue (unless there's a counter question which deserves an answer lol)...

Lemme pen down what exactly I expected from Sandiip,

As we all know, KHKT ended on a bitter-sweet note. We fans have been desperate to get back our show since the off air news and even now when there is no hope. I'm pretty sure Sandiip knows about this desperation of fans and the frustration we have with Shit Plus. In the previous interview, he subtley put accross that season 2 is not on cards and it's better to move on... So, here, he made sure that our frustration is a bit dissolved as the channel isn't contemplating our show's season 2 at all..

What about our desperation? Won't we be salty over the fact that neither did we get the story we deserved nor a KarPika closure (here, I won't blame any actor specifically)... How difficult is it to take KarPika's name for once and for all? Instead, what he's been doing is taking KVG and DT's name constantly... How are the KarPika fans supposed to take this? Isn't is a blatant effort to shove down our throats that Sonakshi was supposed to be DT? RoNakshi was supposed to be KVG and DT? I don't see another point behind this constant rants on KVG and DT.

It is also habitual for him to be one sided, but for god's sake! KHKT was a show which has had passionate, enthusiastic and desperate fans... Onus is on him to atleast give the closure (not on behalf of KarPika) and let fans detach with any salty/bitter feelings...

Anyways, I hope I could make it clear on what exactly I'm disappointed in him.

Coming to Dipika not attending parties and get togethers hosted by KHKT team... People can have different expectations from her but the celebs are not entitled to always fulfill them. She did her job brilliantly..that is to act and present the character. And that's it. Uske baad nothing should matter.

Yes, the industry is also about glamour and appearances, but I don't think Dipika has lagged in giving enough appearances... If you guys still feel it, lemme tell y'all, she isn't that kind who wants to keep that aura of stardom anywhere and everywhere around her. She adores privacy, isn't the party type person (even during SSK). I guess it's high time we make peace with this fact.

Yes, the farewell lunch could have been attended... Even I was disappointed... But, I am a fan, so I'd like to brush it off😉😂 Please bear with me😂
