Usually u urself make a sample dish .for formality sake .and the rest others will take care usually a cook in huge joint families ..if it's 3 or 4 nuclear families ..u r MIL will help u .and yes they won't pester u with or expect u to do work for a couple of weeks .

If u don't have leave at work .. unfortunately ..then no one will ask u to do their chores or expect u to do the chores in home .u will be u rself and the day goes as usual as when u were not present ..i.e as before marriage

I was eye rolling throughout whole sona sucking upto veena coversation. I was like girl calm down itna butter toh mein apne boss ko bhi na lagao . I won't be suprised if sona turns into bahu who solves all the problems in her sasural and rohit turns into a ml who is in the scene only when he has to romance his wife or when he has to stand silently in the corner while everyone is the sasural is taking her class.

Raima left sippy mansion but not the show. They have more crap in store for us. Now it will be suman vs veena next ro-pari then naren-pooja but the promo which fooled us into believing this is a love story about two people with different professions and managing time for each other I guess we will see that story only in the promos now. This show should be called sasural sona ka from now on

I mean i dont know how first day of marriage works but this was too ott. Maybe everybody had liked that because of sona, rohit said good morning to his father but i found that very nosy of sonakshi. This annoyed me too, hardly a day married and already interfering and trying to change things. If rohit isnt on the best of terms with his dad there's obviously a reason for it. Let them sort out their issues on their own. If rohit himself wants to talk about it at some point thats fine. This is just playing into the indian sterotype that the DIL of the house has to be the glue that binds the whole family together.

If it was a love story they could have shown Rohit Sona relation ship slowly built over an year

Never do this on the day first day after wedding, aim to keep the bar as low as possible, so expectations are kept to a manageable levelEvery effort thereafter, YOU ARE A STAR

Haha this is something I have followed from day 1. It really helps to keep expectations realistic.

I really hope sona doesnt become typical superwoman TV bahu doing detective work, solving all problems, mending broken relationships, keeping secrets and undertaking all matters on her own (mujhe hi kuch karna padega types) all the while whipping up meals for 12 people wearing heavy sari and jewellery !! And..most irritating..forever pushing away husband to go and attend to saas, sasur, dadi saas, chacha, bua, devar, the whole world.

Damn right. He can tell if and when he wants to. I mean he told her about pooja's adoption though she was merely a friend because he wanted to tell that. They should be clear and honest about their own relationship as partners but what's brewing between rohit and his father is none of sona's business. God, how I wish they dont continue doing that.

😭😭😭 no no no. Please God let this not be true😂.Though I guess the ratings increased during the "dreamy" wedding, so it can happen too

Yeah feels like a Parvati indeed where her morning routine was concerned 😆 Given how she scarcely cooks at home who come she became an expert at cooking for 12 people with different tastes? 🤣 And yes after the events of the previous day from where did she find the energy to get up, go for a jog, then do yoga? And not to forget she was badly injured and limping the previous day. How can one do stretches in that state? About Veena her yelling at Suman like that may not be right but she had every right to feel angry about what happened. The tone in which the guy spoke it was annoying. So her reaction was natural. Sona was maybe trying to stop the matters from getting worse as she knows her mom best. Her mom isn one to understand reason. But I guess Veena would have handled her well. About Raima, a closure was needed and I am glad she made it clear that she was hurt by Raima's act and she also drew a boundary where Rohit was concerned. This was needed regardless of whether Raima had a change in heart or not.
