I have seen this ghoonghat uthaaye bina sindoor lagaana kaand a couple of times. Like the dulhan will come to mandap with a long ghoonghat and an elderly woman will say that "humaare yahaan riwaaz hai, dulha shaadi se pehle dulhan ko nahin dekh sakta😳" then the dulhan will hold the ghoonghat so as the dulha can insert his hand and target the maang😆surprisingly the dulha's target is so good that he doesn't end up smearing the sindoor on dulhan's eyes or mouth😕
