Rohit is a very impulsive person and because of the privileged and loved position he has had all his life can be arrogant and uncaring about the effect of his words. This is something that has been shown about him from the start. He has not been shown to be an abusive person in general, but his actions towards Sona are bordering on emotional abuse. His constant shouting and accusations and toing and froing.....Human are not black and white. We are all grey but some of us are greyer than others.

Unfortunately nothing will change while women continue to enable men to behave like this by defending or justifying their behaviours.

I agree with you, just by saying he respects women, it does not mean he does. Words need to be backed by action.

I always thought he was a man of his words and had rationale for his behaviour, although at times his character was shown a bit impulsive.

What he did in today’s episode and in the precap means that he head never sure of his feelings, as soon as Raima came back - she became “ Meri Raima” - he changed like a chameleon. What about all the dialogues he was saying to Sona a few seconds ago.

Even if Raima blame Sona, he should trust his own choice - if not Sona. Could have said Sona cannot do it, lets hear her out or something like that. What kind of love is this?

Still perplexed and no amount of justification can justify the fact that he did not stand by his so callled “love” when it mattered the most.

Can we not get into men vs women debate pls. And attyachaar on women. I pray and hope the world will become more gender neutral than ever. My post never was abt that.

There are various scientific studies to back my theory. And it has nothing to do with societal pressure .

I do agree on ur analysis on Rohit. Yes his impulsive, arrogant and judgemental nature is partly cos of his privileged background .

Whether I wld categorize all this as emotional abuse. No I dont think so. Shouting screaming happens in a relationship. And both girls and boys do that

It's not always hunky dory. Obv it is my POV.

Yes sonakshi is a better person than Rohit, no one can deny that.

But Rohit is not irredeemable. That was the crux and message of my post.

Rohit is a jerk! I haven’t seen the episode yet but from whatever I’ve read, his behaviour is not acceptable. He claims to love Sonakshi but doesn’t think twice before throwing the ring on her or telling her to leave his house. Yes he’s in shock, traumatised and probably very happy to see Raima but that doesn’t give him to right to yell at the girl he was going to propose to!

I love Rohit and Sonakshi together but Sonakshi definitely deserves better!

Can you reference some of the studies that support your theory.

I am a physician and I took psychology in undergrad in which I still retain an interest. Most of what I have researched and my general experience in medicine suggests that it is much harder to change in your personality in your 30s and onwards. Not that its impossible but that its much harder. https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/personality-change-past-age-30-is-it-possible-psychology-kirsten-godfrey-david-buss-carol-rothwell-a7757866.html

And if you think about it from an evolutionary standpoint it wouldn't make sense for men to mature in their 40s because in the past we as a species haven't lived as long so a late maturing state wouldn't necessarily be selected for.

Sorry to say but you can not give someone a second option in your life!Or make her the priority or just move on!It is visible that Rohit gave his heart to Raima.Sonakshi was just a second option to move on because Raima was in coma!Sorry to say but Rohit did not have to shout at Sonakshi and blame her without knowing the whole situation! Atleast he could have heard Sonakshi's side of the story! It is just stupid and inmature!
