Veena and her role in these events

Veena is really the one who knows and feels her sons pain the most. She is also however the one who in many instances, even when Sonakshi was not sure about her feelings pushes Sona to help Rohit get out of his stupor. In some episodes I almost felt like Veena was trying to puppet master the whole relationship.

What is Veena going to do? After having given Sona speeches about Rohit needing love and not Raima, is she going to drop Sona like a hot brick? She didn’t seem to be moving a finger in the promo, but that could be deceptive. I am really keen to see whether she has actually developed any real feelings of care for Sona. Or for Veena, is it just all about her son and is she totally flexible about who makes him happy as long as he is happy?

I feel like this being a more new age serial Naren will play the role of the torturing saas while Veena will be the sweet but powerless sasur.

Likewise Rohan is playing the troublesome nanad who risks the family reputation & has to be covered up by the FL while YK is playing the long suffering silent but supportive bhabhi.

@ukgirl22- yes, it will be very interesting to see Veena's stand. She is the only one who was outright vocal and advocates for Sonakshi in Sippy household, even during FS track.

This was discussed before, how Veena mollycoddles Rohit and turns a blind eye to the repercussions of his bakwas. Plus she literally spoke for Sonakshi when she said Rohit misses Raima's pyaar not Raima. Because those two tou are completely separable. And said please mere Rohit ka khayal rakhna without even asking Sonakshi her consent, if she wants to 'khayal rakho' her Rohit. She just assumed for sonakshi and that irked me a lot 🙄

Like someone mentioned in the forum before, Rohit as well as his family is looking at Sonakshi as his therapist. Not sure what they'll do after Raima returns and Rohit doesn't need a therapy any more.
