Keeping it real

Thank you to makers of KHKT for keeping it real!

Though the first instinct is to get angry at Rohit after watching today's episode, what was shown today is what real life is like. If someone has loved a person for so many years they dont just fall out of love in weeks.

In this case Rohit has loved Raima for years and more importantly has loved the IDEA of Raima for 4 years. Add to that the guilt that he has suffered through for 4 years. Those feeling don't go away in the blink of an eye. It takes time and now that he is starting to move on (case in point forgetting Raima's birthday) the anger is a natural reaction. The anger is self directed but he is going to vent it out by yelling at Sona. And yes we all love Sona and feel bad for her but such is life. So thank you to makers for KHKT for not making Rohit's journey easy. Its not easy to give up on the idea of someone and just move on.

Also this is where we need Raima. Till Rohit gets over his guilt and the idea of Raima he will never be completely in love in Sona. And our Sona deserves nothing but complete commitment. She needs someone who will love her unconditionally and without reservations. I want Rohit to spoil her and pamper her but that will not happen till Rohit has dealt with the emotions he has held on to for 4 years. And that will take time.

On a side note: shout out to Ajit for being the voice of reason. We all need someone like that in our lives to point out the obvious. Between Pulki, Ajit and Nethra ji we have enough cupids on this show that I don't worry about our hero and heroine.

It going to be bumpy ride but I am sure the makers will make it worth it!!

Also, I'm happy that all this has started happening before Raima makes re-entry in Rohit's life. At least now, since Raima is not actually in front of Rohit, just in his memories, Rohit has time to introspect his feelings and accept for himself at least that he has moved on from Raima and is falling for Sonakshi.

Imagine the scenario where Rohit first realizes that he's forgotten about Raima only when he sees Raima. The reaction he would have had then would have been bigger as compared to the reaction he's having now. Also, he'd not have got the time to introspect his feelings because he'd want to focus his energy on improving Raima's condition for the first few days atleast until he'd have started missing Sonakshi.

In my opinion, it's better he's feeling all confused now, before Raima actually turns up. Hopefully by the time she enters, Rohit would've made some sort of peace with his changing feelings and will treat Sonakshi much better when Raima is actually there. Then he can help Raima recover, get rid of his guilt and finally move on completely.

Totally agree with you. It is better for all this to happen before Raima shows up. We all knew that at some point Rohit will have to sort through this conflict in his head. It is better that this happens before Raima's entry. Hopefully he will at least realize that Sona means something to him even if he doesnt understand the true intensity of his feelings.

I am eager to see how the makers play Raima in this story. I am really hoping that it will be different than the usual "Rohit wont realize his feelings till Raima turns negative". One of the reasons the last show I loved -IPKKND was that they ended up making the audience love Lavanya. I want the Raima to play cupid for Ronakshi so that by the time she is done with the show we love her. Lets hope the makers don't disappoint!

I remember I had friends who were mad for IPKKND but I never got a chance to get hooked to the show. I haven't seen a positive third angle in a show before. Even if the third person is shown positive at first, they end up turning negative and then it's just a matter of time before they are exposed and thrown out of the lives of the leads. So, I'm waiting for the makers to depict a positive Raima and still make us root for Ronakshi. I want to see a healthy normal relationship between Rohit/Sonakshi without any negativity and drama which usually comes in the form of an ex.

I hope the makers will pleasantly surprise me and not shock me. I've put a lot of faith in them. Let's see how the story unfolds.

I got hooked to IPKKND when it was about to end. They ruined the show later but the first half was fabulous.

Anyways I am keeping my hopes high. I want Rohit to realize his love for Sonakshi and then convince Sona about his love. Sonakshi deserves this and much more!

AAH! THANK YOU for this! I was so pissed off at Rohit and I needed this kind of clarity! 👍🏼I still am angry but your post makes sense!

I am still processing the whole deal of Rohit Sippy. Hes an enigma for me...sometimes hes totally transparent and very easy to read, and sometimes he becomes a big question mark for me.

I understand his anger today now after your post...but venting it all out on Sona is still quite unfair! I still havent recovered from the way he treated Sona in that fashion show fiasco...chalo uss waqt he didnt know and all... but I am still unhappy about the fact that he hasnt really apologized to Sona yet ..aur abh uske ooper phir se he has started yelling on her... 🤢 Not fair at all! Sona is the love of his life...he now knows that too...and yet once again hes treating her as a punching bag. Thats what I am really angry about! 😡

Lets see how this whole thing unfolds. At the end of each track, there is a pile load of due apologies from Doctor sahab....apologies jo ke kabhi hoty nahi hain! 😵

Point well made. Rohit absolutely needs to apologize and not just for the fashion show or for him yelling at her but also for everything he will probably put her through. Which is why I dont just want an apology in words. I want him to work so that Sona forgives him.

Based on how Sonakshi's character is written I think she will forgive him easily. Where I have hope from this show is that she will hopefully be reluctant to give her and Rohit's relationship a chance. That is where I want to see Rohit make efforts and do things to convince Sonakshi because God knows she deserves it!

Well said! Sona deserves apology in words as well as in actions.

We have been shown that Sona has a lot of self respect. One thing i m surely happy about is that she will never become a door mat for Rohit. She is a person who has control over her emotions and actions...while Rohit's emotions make him flip in mere seconds! Rohit has to deal with a lot of emotional baggage...not only from Raima, but also from Naren... Lets see how this emotionally challenged man becomes normal... Filhal tou I just want him to go and apologize to Sona immediately with a promise that he wont ever yell at her unjustifiably again! 😵

I was watching an old episode (yes I had to go and watch an old one after today's episode) and ended up watching the one where Sonakshi yells at him at the hospital after bringing him back from Pune. In that episode he eventually yells at her and then apologizes and then goes on to describe his character perfectly. If you have some time watch episode 47. It summarizes his character so well!
