Have already ranted enough on Raima’s mom and her friends. Especially considering they were Rohit’s friend too. Rohit is a surgeon and he is entitled to have his share of failures like any professional and it’s unfortunate that in his profession it’s a matter of life and death. Can’t they understand the pain he is living with given he loved Raima madly? I get it they can be angry on him as well but not empathetic? Some friends 🤢 just to emphasise Raima is a Bengali they are making her mom overdo the accent and her reaction to Rohit is fat worse than someone getting petrified by the Basilisk.

Ufff don't even get me started on her accent. Her character is over the top right from the beginning. I agree totally that he is entitled to have failures and it's not like he did it on purpose so then why so much of panic and unnecessary melodrama. The friends should have been the ones sorting out the differences and not put fuel in the fire by berating Rohit themselves.

Its the diction of the actress that irritates me more than anything. Plus the stereotypical use of choicest bengali words, sigh. I will give her the benefit of doubt about being wary of rohit, for now. Agree with you folks who say that we don't have a clear picture of what happened in the past. She doesn't seem to have strong reasons to treat sleeping beauty like that. But we might just be told that she was being a mother who wanted to protect her child from the doctor who botched the previous surgery. Or some other less serious/ no reason to be paranoid excuse.

Exactly. Her actions will be justified as the love of a mother. They really need to overcome the stereotyping of any kind in our shows.
