deepika's acting is boring - Page 2

I am gonna be real honest here, I am loving the show as its going really good, the story is going good, but for some reason I can't connect to karan and dipika's chemistry. I like ronakshi like they have a cute and good story, but chemistry wise there is just something missing. I am loving Karan, he is doing an amazing job. No one could have done a better job than him for Rohit Sippy's role. He was amazing in his other shows too. Coming to dipika, I think she is way more tolerable and better than she was as Simar. But I am still not a fan of her. Her acting is alright for me in comedy scenes, but she goes OTT in emotional scenes. Dipika is perfect for Parvati, but I think for Sonakshi there could have been someone better, but I think Dipika is doing her best too. I hope she manages to prevent her OTT acting at times(for sona, not for parvati) and I hope the makers stop showing her monologue, that gets really irritating for me and its kinda uneeded and unrelatable. But yes I really can't connect to the chemistry for some reason, story and show is awesome.

Thank god I m not the only one who finds DT over sweet 😆, she is pretty but she is really over sweet.

now that she has toned down her voice her acting does not look natural. there is no chemistry between both karan and deepika.

karan as dr rohit is excellent in his role but somehow deepika is very boring and her acting is not good.

I agree. Its like we know how her reaction will be beforehand, her expressions, voice modulation everything, there is no variety.Like today her reactions when Netra was teasing her about Rohit, her reactions were so dull & predictable.

He is excellent in comedy & sarcasm, but in a couple of emotional of scenes, like the scene where he went to the cellular network office, I find him lacking too.

Chemistry - I can't see anything till now. All their TF&C till now has been very boring, not sizzling at all.

The comedy, a reasonably relatable storyline & the curiosity of watching the workings of telly land is what makes me watch this show AND the fact that almost all other ITV shows are too cr***y, rubbish & OTT, this is better in comparison.

To each their own I guess, but surprisingly enough I really love how Dipika emotes! She has pleasantly surprised me!

As for the chemistry, or the lack of it so to speak.. I think the dynamic between the leads have been explored really well & I found the progress in the past 40 episodes or so, great as well! The storyline & diff tracks definitely contribute to the chemistry factor & instead of opting for classic ITV tropes every episode, I love that the leads converse like actual adults.

I think it suffices to say that the showrunners have nothing to worry about when it comes to the chemistry department. :)

Karan was superb in each n evry scene n every expression n Dipika acting is not impressive ... her dialogue delivery her giggles her expressions evrythng looks artificial to me n ott... but ronakshi has amazing chemistry .may b bcz of Karan who outshines her in those scenes n they look good...

Reality is she needs to work on her acting skills

I mainly watch the show for Karan's scenes, so haven't noticed Deepika much. Many times I have felt that whenever Karan replies to someone it appears like he is being sarcastic. Like when Rohit said "so sweet of you" to Sona for the gift, I felt he was being sarcastic though I don't think Rohit was supposed to be sarcastic in that scene😕Don't know if anyone else feels same🤔

^I felt, he's a bit shy to accept the gift from her 😕.

Yes she need to work on her acting. Thankfully ronakshi scenes r not affected by her bad acting bcz of karan so I’m fine as long as it stays like that n ff solo scenes
