And i have no problems with lecture on common man and celebs (police interoggation). Like when Devoleena Bhattacharya got arrested a lot of misjudged her. I dont think this kinda important stuff should be skippable people especially the rural people should get to know about this tiny facts.

I felt it was skippable because a.) The exposition of Suman's past was not well executed for me. I understand she has trauma but I dont know why, the act did not get to me.

B.)As I said, it was more of a filler episode

C.) The whole breaking the fourth wall and lecture of celebs being common people is trying to erase the truth that people do infact worship celebrities. I get that they have it hard, long working hours and unrealistic expectations. But the power to change that narrative is also in their hands. It is not necessary for a show to run 3 years, they can have finite series as well as seasons. It then, in turn can produce excellent storywriting that actually makes sense. It also means the actors can have a break and new fresh talent can be introduced. Channels do not do so because they earn more by exploiting everyone-the actors, writers, camera crew, setworkers as well as the audiences.

But it is too much to be asked of from one episode, but it is not too much to ask to not to overuse the 'oh look at us, we have no privilege' narrative every single episode.

I have no clue who Devoleena Bhattacharya is, I will read up on her :) but if anything happened to her like it did to Sonakshi, it is terrible. I do agree on the fact that public is quick to judge as quick as put someone on the pedestal.

Is he the same Rohit Sippy who couldn't stand her a few days back and now what drastic has changed that he is begging for her forgiveness!just because she returned his watch he had developed a soft corner for her? The cvs are not making it slow but a forced dramatic romance!

I love the show and I am still liking the chemistry between leads but the story somewhere feels forced and unreal just to get sonakshi and Rohit meet again and again!

While I do agree that they could have Rohit and Sonakshi be friends for a little longer before stuff blew up in their face, I do find it sweet that Rohit genuinely wants Sonakshi's forgiveness. The flowers were a overkill though😆but I guess wanting forgiveness is normal after sending someone's mom to jail, albeit by mistake. That's a sentence I never thought I would say😂

I also think Rohit has just started to be attracted to Sonakshi, but it is not that, but his good nature that makes him want her to accept his apology. Because he is a good person

Lamed excuse by Nishi, i liked how all sippys didn't supprt nishi INstead Confronted her 4 Her childish act!!

Rohit looked so affected by sona's annoyance, even Nishi also noticed today that Rohit got so hyper bcoz of Sonakshi!!

Sona's mom was nt doing drama Bt she actually got feared ... i think she got tortured & had borne so much in d past!!

I think the average actor, writer, cameraman etc don't have as much power to change things. Even the producers have to deal with what the channels want. I was watching Swabhiman a couple of years ago... .the channel started messing them around a bit. At the end they wanted to drastically change the story, Sooraj Bharjatiya refused so the show ended. But its the actors, writers set workers who get affected the most. The 4 main leads were all pretty good but are still trying to land good work. TV actors are popular but I don't think they have much power to assert real change or influence.

The Korean industry does it well with finite shows.. but I feel like it is more of an anomaly. BBC can make some excellent finite shows but that's because they have the backing of government funding. American, Turkish, and Indian shows all have similar issues with prolonging a popular show too long to the point it becomes nonsensical or cutting short otherwise excellent shows because they haven't gained mainstream popularity. Just look at Breaking Bad..... it wasn't that popular in its first season at all. It was only after it came on Netflix that it went viral and the ratings picked up which in turn allowed it to have a good run.

But I agree... I would prefer they tone down the overt preachiness. Even if they want to impart a certain message, I'd prefer they show something and allow us to draw our own conclusions vs tell us what to think. But I think that's one of the limitations of the ITV industry in general that they tend to spoon feed the audience instead of leaving room for multiple interpretations and expand our critical thinking abilities.
